If the Zenith you have is really the smaller one (the D22), it should fit on the Pico with a couple mm to spare before touching the battery cap. At least my 22's do anyway. Maybe they sold you a 24mm full size one instead? Unless you meant Mini in capacity (for TPD reasons).

Yes that'll be it - I'm in Spain at the moment so it'll be the TPD one - the Dreaded "Assume" strikes again in my case; as I knew it'd be the said TPD one, I assumed it would fit the Pico - I never thought to check the measurements ... but then again I don't really do detail if I can help it!

Still it'll run on my fading iSticks here, again assuming they last out til June and then when I'm back it can get used with one of my K Boxes.

There is a lot of love on here for the Zenith. I don't find it super impressive. I have said so. Many fans will disagree with me.

Your last sentence, which I find rather patronising, says it it all.

If you had read my previous posts you would have noticed that I don't normally do controversy and in fact always try to find the middle ground where it might exist.

You might also wish to note that I used more than one exclamation mark - here I accept there are cultural differences between say American English and British English, but in British English this implies tongue in cheek humour.

Actually I thought I had done rather a good job of self mocking humour - clearly I failed!
I beg to differ, you did not in fact fail. As one who grew up watching monty python reruns, i totally get the humor. And so, to keep my comment vape related, i am taking a large and cloudy rip on my tfv12 king as i type this.

Appreciated @Coyote628 - glad I didn't labour in vain!

Talking of labouring, Your Correspondent and the Mem ( who couldn't read the Instructions card either ) adjourned to their terrace, after their labours with the Zenith, for tea, She with a whisky and He with a G&T to wash away the troubles of the day ( no, BTW for Python Fans, that is not Spam on the plates! )

It will be noted that The Writer by that time had resorted and reverted to his trusty nautilus!

I got a Zenith and a N2 within a few months of each other. I like them both right enough - the Zenith is much more practical when out and about (refilling the N2 is something I haven't mastered without needing a flat surface...) But both are nice tanks imo.

People rave about the coil life of the Zenith - and rightly so. But I actually find the Aspire coils have pretty good mileage in them. I use both on rotation so maybe they helps.

Also, I think the N2 handles very high VG liquids better than the Zenith. I bought some 80vg liquid by mistake and it was better in the Nautilus.

Update 29/4/19 ... well I gave the Zenith a good shot and experimented with my stock of drip tips from atties which bit the dust over the years as I liked neither of the ones that came with it and to my mind the one that worked best was the one from the Continental version of the GS Air - the result was a good strong free draw with improved flavour.

The Zenith was easy enough to fill in a good light which was just as well as it had a thirst on it like a Scotsman at a free Brewery Trip ) even with the plus ohm coil firing at my usual 8 watts.

Someone commented earlier that that I'd find a Nautilus Mark 1 with its bottom filling system difficult by comparison - obviously unaware that I've been using Nautis for over three years and can do it on auto pilot ( maybe it's because I'm a long term guitar player - but I undo the bottom part, lodge it between my little and ring finger, place the tank between my ring and middle finger, unscrew the juice bottle with the cap held btween my index finger and thumb, all on the left hand, fill it by holding the juice bottle in my right hand and Bingo - job done in moments.

Anyway the final upshot, and I know it's just me, is that while the Zenith improved on acquaintance I personally just could never really take to it - and so using Amazon and a couple of known reputable suppliers with whom I have dealt previously ... I went Back to the Future and bought a couple more Nautis, the last of which arrived today.

I'll use them with great care here until I can get them home and fit at least one of them with a latticed metal sleeve, and the Zenith can serve as backup.

@r77r7r You know I think you have hit it on the head, why the Nautilus works for me with your comment about a wetter vape!

I smoked a pipe since 1974 until a few years ago, and Brit pipe tobacco used to be honestly sold in one ounce tins bearing the legend "Sold subject to evaporation" - i.e. it had water added to it to enhance the flavour ( so the manufacturers claimed anyway ). American pipe tobaccos were drier.

The Nautilus's vaping experience is nearer to the Brit pipe smoking experience - I genuinely thank you for solving a puzzle for me!

Even vaping unflavoured using my favourite Greek Nicotine liquid I always found using the Nautilus gave me a vape resembling a Senior Service unfiltered cigarette ( which I used to smoke before switching to a pipe) which was somehow more mellow than a Player's unfiltered - but if I used the same liquid in a GS Air tank with a 0.75 Ohm coil I got a more Player's like vape.

Sometimes it takes someone standing outside to give you the answer to something you are too close to see yourself.

Again - my genuine thanks!

Still sounds a little more complicated (to me) than...twist => fill => re-twist...(while leaving Tank ON the Mod)…

As night falls in old London and fog settles in the deserted streets, Holmes and Watson are found gathered by the fire in 221B Baker Street. There is a knock on the door and a uniformed Telegram Boy dashes in.

“Message for you Mr ‘Omes, Sir - from Americkay, just came down the Electric Wire so it must be important shall I wait for a reply?”

“No Boy, it’ll probably be midnight there just now I’ll attend to it shortly. Watson, give the lad a penny for his trouble!”

The Detective reads the note and passes it to Watson, “You know my methods Watson, tell me what you make of this and its author?”

Watson reads the form, lights his pipe and considers at length before replying, “Elementary Holmes, the correspondent simply prefers an easy to fill device!”

Shaking his head - “ Ah but the writer Watson, the Writer? Clearly he or she must have been a smoker, used to the convenience of taking out one of those new pre packed machine made cigarettes and setting light to it with a self contained igniting device. Consider had he been a British pipe smoker he would have been attuned to the need for somewhat lengthier preparations before he could have communed with the Lady Nicotine and achieved his satisfaction!”

Standing up and demonstrating - “Would he not firstly have had to go through the initial ritual of patting his pockets to establish the whereabouts of his pipe, his tobacco pouch and his matches - thus and thus? Having found same, would he not then place his pipe in his mouth, so, and then blow through it to remove any fragments of ash before selecting a flake of tobacco from his pouch then rubbing it out carefully, at the same time taking care that in his concentration he did not bite too hard on his pipestem? Then would he not have to fill his pipe slowly so as not to over pack it, return it to his mouth to check the draw was correct and apply his first charring light, letting the pipe go out before re-tamping his tobacco and applying the second light before he could savour the delights of his smoke?”

Watson - “Amazing Holmes, simply amazing!”

Holmes, returning to his seat - “And there you have The Case of the Perceived Nautilus Complication solved Watson! Always remember that our American Cousins are at heart engineers and will seek an engineering solution to most problems. It is my firm belief that those of that great Nation will one day invent a portable device capable of holding it’s own nicotinic liquid which upon the push of the container will propel that into an ignition device and that it will fired by electricity!”

“Never Homes - that is simply not possible!”

“Time will tell Watson , time will tell! Mrs Hudson - you may now bring in the tea!”

"You can't please all of the people all of the time!"

And to think I spent all that time, switching on my Infinitive Splitter, my Pastiche Preparer, and my Alliteration Aligner, even calling upon my Victorian English Emulator … all that before I had even drank my first cup of morning tea… and it was all in vain.

I am so bereft, woe is me and thrice woe, nay my be has never been so refted! ( switches off Pathos Producer … turns on Well Worn Cliche Mode ) and there I’d been labouring mightily in the verbage vineyards to find my words had fallen like a lead balloon or been swept away by the careless winds of fortune like crumbs from the ashtray of a motorbike.

The Ecclesiastes Extractor has however come up with its usual crumb of comfort reminding me that “ Vanity, Vanity all is Vanity!”

To the great relief of all, The Writer goes off to weep into his chocolate tea cup!
