usually with those types of builds the flooding is caused by lack of wicking, which would allow the juice to just flow freely. What are you using for a wick?

When I rebuild my buddies evod heads I make sure the wick is thin enough to slide back and forth with little effort. I then fluff the ends just outside the metal tube enough to block excess juice flow. I personally use cotton as I like the flavor best and so does my friend.

I do indeed use cotton, I guess I'll try to use a little more

Always had a problem rebuilding using cotton balls. The guess work of how much cotton was getting the better of me that I almost gave up. My last resort was to try Peaches and Cream Yarn from Walmart. This yarn is perfect....you don't have to guess how much cotton to use. Just thread it thru the coil and it's the right amount.

Good Luck to You.
