My boxes, ordered from elev8 on the 25th, just appeared in BETHPAGE, NY 11714. Maybe they will get here eventually. Did everyone else's also end up there? Or did they take tours to different towns.
Looking forward to modifying them. I figure one bottom feeder and one with a vamo chip. Probably a DNA40 when Mike Petro sets up another coop next year. Should be fun.
I understand they come with switches, sled, 510, usb charger, dead board/screen, and lots of hot glue.

Bethpage seems to be the "hold-up" stop on their mail tour of the country. Mine spent almost a week there.

Just got my 3 boxes (black, blue and red). It came in a small flat rate box with no padding or anything. They did send 3 - 5ml bottles of juice with no labels. One sweet candy type (can't really place it), hazelnut chocolate, and some type of fruit.

Black - Looks like the screen is dead but otherwise works (fires an atomizer). The box is in the roughest shape out of the 3 but still not bad at all. Mostly some small nicks and scrapes on the side with the buttons and opposite side. No marks on the face or back.

Blue - Works but there's a short on the 510 circuit. All atomizers show up as "Check Atomizer". Hard to find any marks on the box at all. The color is a very nice Royal Blue unlike my FC clone which is more of a turquoise color. This will be my first dna 40 box.

Red - Works fine. Can't find anything wrong with it at all. Ohms are accurate. Some very small marks on the top and bottom edges on the sides but you really have to look for them. It's a nice deep red color.

Overall shape of the Cloupor box is much nicer than my FC box (KSD). It's 1mm taller, .5mm thicker and 1mm thinner (H x D x W). The side edges are more rounded so it feel more comfortable to hold than the FC box. The anodizing seems to be better on the Cloupor box too.

Not a bad deal, 1 fully working box and 2 extras for under $20 shipped :D

do all hanas have the chip on that see through sled?

Don't suppose anyone has replaced the screen on one of these? is it difficult/worth it?

I'm in the process of pulling out the guts on my blue one. Holy crap there's a ton of glue. I need to take a break.

My black one has a dead screen. Probably not worth putting money into it. I'm going to look at the contacts to see if I can solder it. If not, it goes into the trash and will await a DNA 40.

heh - found white spirit works a treat :)

and contact cleaner good too

I killed the Up and Down buttons getting my blue one gutted. Looks like someone added more hot glue after the initial install and there was a TON of hot glue. I'll have to look at my black one. How did you fix the screen?

the up button on mine fella apart too - heh - while getting off that resin type glue - still works though

the screen fixed itself - probably a dodgy connection somewhere.

Calling SanJosse!

beta-v2 of the DNA40 sled arrived today. Fits great!
There is a little play from side to side, but I think that is good as it allows a little wiggle room if your wires dont lay quite right.

Now here is some food for thought. If you made the screen cavity about .4mm wider it would also accommodate the new large display that Evolv is releasing. The User would need to enlarge the window on the enclosure, but aluminum files easy enough.

It was just about .35mm shy of fitting in there:

A larger display? Sounds interesting. Where can I find info on that?

Dont have permission to release specifics yet, but I am hoping I will tomorrow.

The one on the left is a Lipo BAP, and the middle is a 18650 BAP, both DNA40s.

    Notice the detachable ribbon cable.

I always wondered why Evolv didn't make these with detachable ribbon cables. Dang it, now I may have to buy the newer version
