Very interesting. But you already have a Bart and a Big Brother, don't you? What do you like about this eGo, other than that it's not proprietary?

i also will await this answer .... my foray into egos came to an abrupt halt with the battery not functioning any longer [button still lights up but won't charge] and that after only 20 or so charging cycles ........

Lorikay, I love you!

Thanks for your help, dear. (How did you do it, anyway? You have to teach me.) :)

If there is a mod around, could we please get this stickied (without the bunny )? And we should give credit to Hoogie for creating this!

This is from MadVapes email and it explains everything. Well, almost everything.

Thanks, Hoogie 76!

And thanks again, Lorikay! You're the best!!! :thumb::wub:

Thanks for the link. Awaiting reviews from Pigster and Salt... A new design is always interesting.

BR, how did you like your dual coils, seriously? Too much vapor? Really?

The e-cigarette is a nicotine delivery device and too much vapor equals too much nicotine. I was already getting enough with one C-E2, and when I put two of them together, it was too much for me. I could have diluted my juice 50%, but that would have been rather silly. People with too much money say that money isn't everything, and I suppose I'm saying the same thing about vapor.

The C-E2's that I cobbled together have 3Ω coils connected in series for a total of 6Ω, meaning that they could be safely used at twice the voltage. I could have just as easily connected them in parallel to yield 1.5Ω and called it a LR mod. The performance would have been about the same, but it could not have been used for the tests that I had in mind.

If there is anyone on this thread that has not seen this contraption, here is the original post for it:

It Has been a long time - 9 days - which is about 30 pages here :) Thought you mentioned the LR - the tanks - that was it. I'm using the LR tanks on my SE Riva and it's working - no flavor loss... I also ordered an 'E-power' batt from madvapes today:

E-Power Replacable Battery eGo kit!

This is some of my 'bunker mentality' - why I have have gold, ammo and freeze dried food :) ie. in this case, a step away from proprietary - but also looking for the 3.7v jolt as well. I have enough 'regular ohm'd' stuff in 510 that it will help.

Well hon, I don't know what you are using now, but if you require something stronger than a regular 510 or eGo can provide, this 3.7 volt device will produce a bit more vapor and TH.

i just had an ego battery go bad apparently after just 20 charging cycles. first time ever that a carto seems to last longer than a battery, lol

I recently had two Hello 016 batteries go bad within a 10 hour period of each other. Unfortunately, both were a few days past their 14 day warranty. My original one lasted almost forever.
