Most normal vapers won't go through more than 2ml a day.
br, you need Vapers Anonymous! Ha!

"My name is br....I'm a vaper....I have a problem!"

"Hi b r !"

lol. I admit it. My latest mods have turned me into a junkie. I was up to 9ml per day and now trying to taper off by using less voltage. I'm vaping most of the time at 2.8 volts from my desktop box mod, but I don't use it for walkabout. I'm thinking that the soon available C-E2's with an optional higher ohm coil may suit my needs well enough for use with either a Hello 016 or eGo battery.

Katya...

I saw that jive about MOSFET batteries. I think the same warning is up for the boge 2ohm cartos as well. I use the 2ohms on my ego/riva religiously, and havnt had a problem.

Also... I think that the new true 3.7 v Riva batteries don't have the MOSFET like the egos. I could be wrong... I need to go find scottb's notes.

Anyway... If they can't handle it... I can use the buzz.

Those SS batteries you sent me months ago, and I've been using with Boge 2ohm's, just started to fail a month ago. I have been using my custom pitbull, but not for nearly as long. I love a good autobattery.

I found a good 510 auto battery as well. 160mAh, Pressure switch and all. I only got one, and am still testing it, but plan to ask about a 250-280mAh version... 160 just doesn't cut it... I can't say where i got it, but may know where to get them in the near future.

I go through at least 10 ml a day. But then I never claimed to be normal.:p:laugh:

Never less than 6-8 here... and if I'm hardware experimenting, all bets are off!

You guys know you're not supposed to drink the stuff, right?

Thanks Katya. I'm surprised you don't drip at all. BTW, what is your carto of choice?

You're very welcome. I tried dripping, trust me. I just don't have the patience... I'm on the go most of the time, I drive a lot; I like to load up a carto or a tank and forget about it, at least for awhile.

As for my favorites, I have several. I always have a true 3.7v Riva and my trusty eGo (3.2v) going with either a eGo-t atty (regular-2.1Ω or LR-1.8Ω) + the fillerless tank and a Boge 2.0Ω cartomizer. I also like IkenVape's 2.5Ω Premium Platinum 510 and/or 510 Drip Tip carto. I hear good things about the new kr808 horizontal coil cartos that IkenVape and Nhaler carry (2.5Ω). Beachpuff likes them. I'm yet to try them. I also always have a small battery in my purse and in my car, a good old V4L manual regular or an auto, like Bloog or SmokeStik. They are really good auto batteries. I like the autos when I'm driving.

LOL No one ever told me that before. I learn something new every day.

I had a feeling... BR, the girl needs a tutor!

Dang it, I was going to have you take me golfing this Saturday but it looks like it's going to rain heavily... We'll have to reschedule.

That's a shame, Quick! you do your best work here on ECF after your...ahem...golfing and bowling sessions...:)

Back to cartomizers!

Katya...

I saw that jive about MOSFET batteries. I think the same warning is up for the boge 2ohm cartos as well. I use the 2ohms on my ego/riva religiously, and havnt had a problem.

I think you're right. But Scott says to just test the atty once in awhile. If it gets close to 1.0Ω, get rid of it (or clean it). 1.6Ω should be safe, but possibly too hot on your true 3.7 Rivas. But it might be OK on the eGo. I'm not a big LR person, as you know.

Keep us posted, will you? Piggy also ordered them, so I'll wait for you two to report before I order more cartomizers.

Also... I think that the new true 3.7 v Riva batteries don't have the MOSFET like the egos. I could be wrong... I need to go find scottb's notes.

Hmmm... you may be right.

Anyway... If they can't handle it... I can use the buzz.

Lucky you. I'm so tempted to get a VV mod. Everybody likes the Buzz. I just don't want to get arrested... And I don't want to vape a muffler, either. I like the Buzz and the Provari, but they are soooo big.

Salt, dear. You can't put a 2.0Ω carto on a 160-180 mAh battery and expect miracles. How long does that combo last you? Half an hour? :p

I sure did order em, and the listed ohms on those dual coils is 2ohm.( I will be trying to test em, but my multimeter doesn't play well or work well on low ohm scale)
I will be using a few 510 batteries, but the predominate experiment was to be with KR808D-1 batteries which seem a little heftier. Nothing fancy on batteries, just stock M1-A1 everyday batteries. We'll see what fries...
Told the dual coils are more suited for 6-7v, but also saw a you tube of em being used on 510 batteries...how long a life?? Unknown. But they vaped like a fog machine at a hair band concert.

Given Salt's track record half an hour would be enough time to blow 2 to 3 carto's. lol

{:)

It would, indeed.

How are you feeling, Arjay? Better, I hope?

Pigsy, just FYI, Madvape's website lists them at 1.6Ω. If you put a 1.6Ω carto on a 7v battery (worst case scenario), you'll generate 30.6 Watts. This is mildly suicidal, if you ask me. The best case scenario, 2.0Ω on 6v, will give you a whopping 18 Watts. Do you have a death wish, dear?

As for your multimeter, it should have a 200Ω setting. That should give you a pretty accurate reading. Test your cartos before you do anything, please. And don't start with 6v....

I love to watch things torch. It's the pyro in me.
Don't leave me around a campfire with a few aerosol cans. It don't get pretty. People scatter.

Jury is out on the ohms on that dual coil (coming), I've heard 1.6 and 2ohms.
I have that setting, but the meter won't zero out. It floats all over the place. I was in electronics years back. No stranger to a meter. I will try again.

I just tried the Boge 2ohm 510 carto's . Horrific taste, good vape. All afternoon the taste wouldn't leave. It's not burn, it's chemical. Man, I ordered 10 Boge's I'm either going to have to boil these babies or figure out how to get the chemical taste out. I'm to the point I can't stand to pick em up and use em.

Horrific taste? That's new to me. I've been using Boges for a long time, never had that. Grrr... But then you like the Bloog, and to me they taste funny, so maybe it's just our tastebuds.

I just touch the leads together and wait for the display to stop jumping all over the place. On my meter it usually stops on a 0.0 or 0.1Ω. Then I do the test. Afterwards I just subtract the resistance of the leads from my test number. Maybe there's something wrong with your meter. Mine takes a while to calm down, but it always does. It helps to have a steady hand and some patience.
