It helps a lot. I still have to figure out if I need a slap yo mama and a saddle valve and what the heck that flange on the bottom of some cartos does, but with my setup, I'm good to go. I have several boxes of Boge and SmokTech cartos, but most of them have stickers on them. What did we do in the past to get rid of those stickers to get the ss look? Hair dryer and lighter fluid? ;)

You can live without the flanges, though they make things a bit easier. i've peeled the stickers off and used alcohol to get rid of the glue...not gonna use lighter fluid. eeeww (and besides i don't have any)

If I remember correctly, it was Belletrist who came up with that idea. She wanted the stainless look but all cartos were covered with stickers at that time. She was fun.

Yup, 2.5 ml. Thanks Willy!
Katya, I have found a good carto with wicks that is working for me better than anything I have used in 2 years. It is called a Kanger T2 and holds 2.4ml liquid. The tank is holding up very well and so easy to refill from a bottle. It has a replaceable coil in different OHM's and so easy to replace without taking everything apart, you just take off the mouth piece and there it is to unscrew and put on a new one. The replacement are ONLY a little over $1 dollar so everything is very reasonable. So for only 1 Dollar its not so hard to throw one away and replace it. You can clean and dry burn it if you want, and is easier to do than any other coils/models. Hope this is useful info for you. This is what I am using as my all day vape time now, but I do still use a carto with filler sometimes for the smaller size.

hiya, joe! pretty sure our tweety is familiar with the kanger t products - i got a stern admonishment from her to give those bottom coils a try ;) hence i'm waiting on the kanger protank
Have not tried the bottom coil. Let us know what you think of them. The reason I did not try them is because the t2 is so easy and cheap to replace the coil Assembly. and works so well.

Hey there Wyojoe! I agree, I like the T2!

They are the same as the eGo cc we discussed here before:

Tibs, the T2 is the only top coil clearomizer in the Kanger family and it works surprisingly well for me, top coil notwithstanding. All the other Kangers have changeable bottom coil (BCC): T3, MT3, baby T3, eVod and ProTank.

Kanger BCC clearos are quickly becoming my favorites. They all come with changeable coils. The eVod and ProTank coils are half the price of T3s because you don't have to buy the base--just the coil unit that screws into the base.

I suppose one advantage of the Kanger T2 top coil is that it can easily be dry burned and cleaned by people who like to extend the life of the replacement coil. Other than that, the rest of the design is a bit silly in my opinion. A more practical version would hold more juice and be less expensive to manufacture. But then like I've said before, the rest of the world ain't ready for br yet.

Bottom coils suck, heheh.

BR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The world will never be ready for BR! :)

That said, I totally disagree with you! :D

I hate big heads because I hate to vape eliquids that have been circulating through my hot atty for hours; I like to refill often. I like fresh juice! I hate cooked juice--or semi-cooked juice--or reheated juice!

And I like my bottom coils!

How are you doing, cowboy? How's Peggy?

It didn't take long for my Teetie Pie to disagree. But then I didn't think it would, heheh.

Fortunately, my tanks do not run near as hot as an original small CE-2 type cartomizer, even with back to back vaping. However, the tank and juice needs to warm up enough for the thing to wake up and come alive. I never get the feeling that my juice is cooked in the least, possibly because it only takes about one watt of power to produce enough vapor to go through about 6mL of juice per day. My juice is almost clear to begin with and it still looks that way when the tank is near empty. Fresh juice? Golly, mine ain't got enough time to be any other way. I don't never use any of them store bought things, so can't say what one of them would do.

I haven't been doing so well. Been mostly bed ridden since before Easter and in and out of doctor's offices and emergency rooms. The last emergency room visit turned into a hospital stay of several days. I've recovered a good bit now and beginning to get up and about, but having to get around with three body bags hanging off me. Once I recover enough there are other issues that will have to be dwelt with. I'm taking it as it comes, but can't do it now quite as easy as standing on my head.

Peggy is doing the best she can. Thankfully, she has been well enough to see me through these last ordeals. I don't know what I would do without my Rock.
