Burnt!

This post is being made to keep others from making the same pea brained mistake I just made! I have one EGO 1000mah passthrough and one 1000mah EGO Twist (gave my two 650mah to the Empress aka the wife) Well I put the passthrough on the charger, hook up the twist to my ce4 and hit after hit is burnt! change out the clearo and I still get nothing but burnt menthol! Clean both and open up a new CE4 BURNT yet again!!!!! I finally look at the end of the twist and see the voltage is set all the way up at 4.8v!!!!! DOPE! turn it down to a comfortable 3.8 and it's smooooooooth vaping once again. Can't believe I was that brain dead! lol

Yep I did that same thing at fist sometimes more power is not best. LOL
The goal is to get about 6 watts. To figure that you take volts x volts divided by ohms the comfort spread is between 4-10 watts no more than 10 our you burn the juice and shorten the atty life. Use it as low as you can to get a good full vapor. Also using higher voltage drains the battery that much quicker.

HA Ive screwed on a 1.5 oHm cart and forgot to turn the mod down from 5.5 from the 4.4oHm cart I was using previously Yuck!!!!

I have a clearo @ 2.4Ohm and cartos at 1.8ohms I vape the clearo ~4.6v and the cartos at 3.6ish..
Take hit after changing.. Cough Cough.. YUCK..
Turn down voltage

Thanks Steve, Saved the excel file. Here's a site I use because I forgot 90% of what I use to know as a commercial hvac/r mechanic. Always good to have watts law/omh's law at hand.

Thanks "all" for sharing your stories as well, hopefully we can keep one poor soul from wondering why the H** is my juice burnt!
