They finally told me at work company policy is no smoking or vaping inside the plant.I was vaping for 6 months before i was told, not a warning, just a polite ''not company policy''.I knew it was coming, funny thing is i was vaping in the lunch room in front of everyone the whole time,i guess some complained to the mang.Im not upset in anyway cause i still can go just outside on the property if i want. But i wont because i hate vaping''in the wind''..and to tell the truth.i can go the whole 8 hours without a vape and not feel edgey and withdrawl stuff. Its not like tobacco where i had to have a smoke. Also this makes me look forward to coming home after a good day after work and having a relaxing vape without worrying of bothering anyone. All is good.:danger:

Mean while lift trucks and welding fumes are present in the shop, not a lot but the odd emmission....LOL

This is exactly why I stealth everywhere except my home and car. There are those here that beat the "But it ain't tobacco!" drum... but we all know as soon as somebody sees fog coming from our mouths from 30 feet away they start wheezing, coughing and need CPR.

Next thing you know you're outside right where you used to be with all the other "foggers".

Glad to hear you're not bent out of shape. The same thing happened in my office about a month after I started vaping. I guess someone complained, and I'm back outside. I was pretty steamed over it (because I asked everyone if it bothered them, and no one said a thing), but got over it pretty quick.

The only way it bothers people is they get upset because we get too stay inside in the warm and vape and they have to freese their buns off,so they wont admit the real reason. No biggie, this gives me more time to read my books at breaks,i cant read and vape same time, cant see the words.

I still feel weird vaping in public and for the most part just don't do it. Kodiak is right, people are nuts. I was at the casino at a smoking table and one of my plumes of berries and cream hit the dealer in the face. She had a coughing fit. Literally like you live in a stagnant cloud of death but berries and cream upsets you.

Not worth the headache for me.

I stealth vape at work. I work in a manufacturing plant where there are much more hazardous things to breathe than my vape cloud. But I know if I started blowing clouds around I would hear about it, so I keep it on the DL.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

My father was at a jockey lot, which was outdoors to be fair, so he let out a huge cloud. He didn't notice a Hispanic couple close behind them and she freaked out like she was having an asthma attack. Now my fathers knowledge of Spanish consists of burrito and chalupa but he said judging by her husband rolling his eyes and her tone he get the message. Some ppl...

I work with some very smart and tolerant people, and I vape at work. But I do it discreetly. Everybody knows, and they comment on it once in a while. Still, I don't want to take the risk of annoying any of them in any way, with clouds, or smell.

If I vape conspicuously, and someone gets an allergic itch in their eye, or if they are distracted from their work by a cloud drifting by, or maybe they're just having a bad day and they become jealous because they have to go outside to smoke, I run the risk of being told to knock it off.

As long as I don't annoy anyone, I figure nobody is going to find a reason to complain. Knowing about something, and seeing it all the time, are two very different things.

I honestly think vaping wont make it to ''inside vaping'' until the mainstream media ''makes'' it so.I for one,i hate stealth vaping, makes me feel like a low life criminal,so i just vape at home.I can let loose massive clouds without any squabbling.Im a happy vaper just left at home.

I'm so accustomed to not being able to smoke indoors when I'm out that it never even occurred to me to vape where I couldn't previously smoke. I actually was shocked upon moving to the south after four years in WA (four years of hell I might add, and the reason I have a high tolerance for going without my fix indoors for long periods) that there were bars that allowed smoking (TGIFridays even!).

That being said, I'd still be very cautious about who I do it around. Sure it isn't tobacco, and the scent etc doesn't hover near as long. But so many people I know have issues with asthma and allergies I'd be fearful of putting them into a bad situation. I just wish people that take baths in their perfume and cologne would have the same consideration.

The biggest benefit for me is I no longer banish myself to the garage and can have my gaming and nicotine together!

That statement right there makes me question so much about the company. However, I would assume they have the right ventilation in the plant that makes it a bit safer to inhale those fumes.
