also, unless the button hole in the tube got enlarged somehow the button should screw in perfectly straight. also, the spring post screws in the bottom plate perfectly straight, but double check this as well. together they meet at a perfect 90 degrees, there shouldn't be any need or ability to push the button upwards, downwards or off angle. be sure your bottom cap post is screwed in properly straight and stable, and be sure your button is screwed in perfectly straight and stable as well, no jiggle. if there is movement on these parts (side to side on the spring post when screwed in, or side to side, up and down on the button when screwed in) let us know.
