I'm new to ecigs but stay interested in this to keep me away from cigarettes. After a pack a day for almost 20 yrs I'm close to knowing that I won't smoke again.

After the 1st week of ecigs I began searching for something better, the ego-c and plastic mouthpieces just weren't cutting it. Seems like as my taste buds were recovering I could detect taste issues with my ecigs.

Today an order from Avid Vapes arrived, a rebuildable atomizer...the Vision Eternity. It's about $40 total.

i'm only half an hour into this, but have to recommend it even for beginners like me. The taste is SO MUCH BETTER. I realize this rba needs time to break in, but I expect nothing but improvements. To anyone reading, don't be hesitant to try out a rebuildable.

I just got my first rba as well, a Phoenix Bully. I'm not thrilled with it, it seems harsher than normal, and if you put too many drops in (it's supposed to hold 10-15 I believe), it seems to flood it and my eVic tells me there's an atomizer short. I'm going to keep playing with it, as I've got some 32g kanthal and 400 ss mesh now. Hopefully it gets better.

I just ordered a Bully Rebuildable Atomizer "Phoenix Clone" for $8 figure its cheap enough to give it a shot, and will be a great way to try my juices before i fill up a large carto/tank.
seems pretty simple to use

Also note: eCigs are great, but i think (for me) the fact im also making it a hobby has helped the change from stinkies to PVs much easier

People everywhere are stocking up on AR-15's & ecig supplies! Srsly, it would be a shame if this industry disappeared but it seems like the US will regulate it & tax it. Ejuice prices will go up. Lets hope it's not more severe. I could not have quits cigs this easily any other way (I tried).

Over the last hour I have flooded the Vision, but overall it's a more satisfying vape, better taste, pull, etc. it's just all around better thus far.

Kinda funny though, the coil/wick that comes pre installed broke when I first oxidized it. I watched a video on installing one that it came with & 5 minutes later I was priming & vaping.

I jumped into the RBA world with a did mini clone and after some fiddling with the mesh and wire i finally got a good vape from it. I recently got an A7 and out of the package it has been a great vape I haven't rebuilt this one yet but will be within the next week or so. I ordered an AGA-T+ today mainly because you can go either SS mesh or Silica wick (gonna use it both ways and see which way i am more cut out for building wise) Good luck to anyone making the jump into RBAs as im sure i will need some!

Ya know i think it would be kinda funny if the FDA decided to leave us vapers alone with only minor restrictions for the nic and all the stocking up came back and bit us in the ....! (but i have been stocking up too just in case but not as heavily as others.) all we can do is wait and see.....

i started with mini DID clone, then phoenix to a7 and aga-t+ and HIS line(line v2 clone)

RBA took maybe a week to master making the wick and the coil but once i did, i could never go back to carto tanks... i am currently using mini DID with glass tank from ibtanked on a Precise+, and AGA-T+ on VAMO. Mainly mini-DID because its so portable ;)

I have a vision eternity and although it seems to enjoy leaking a bit even when its not flooded its still a good vape. I bought some pre made coils with the posts (5 for $10) bought them more just to have extra posts in case I lose some. I also use a smok r tank with SS mesh its a pretty good vape as well. I'm going to buy a couple more rebuildables to stock up and there cheaper in the long run.

Update: I'm more happy with my Phoenix Bully after giving it some time and playing with it a bit. Seems the reason I was getting shorts is because of the little removable metal ring that goes inside was getting knocked loose and contacting the positive post. Just traded my buddy varivapr for a AGA-T so now I have 2 RBA's to attempt to master.

Reading all off this I feel like a fool, I've been messing with a Ego for about 2-3 years, buying all kind of stuff, multiple atomizers, batteries, useless tanks that last a week. And now I woke up and realize there's so much more out there. Thanks for the info about the stuff you use. I also smoked 25 years and really do not wanna go back to it, but these cheap low quality parts end up being expensive in the long run. What do you think would be the best set-up? To me it looks like the GG stuff.

I have a AGA-T+ on the way, a Phoenix v3 and a MOV Corsair.

To Twitteliedoe I'd suggest you get at least one vv device (provari, VAMO, Zmax, evic etc) with built in protection ( short circuit etc) that also has a ohms meter built in to get started with rebuildables (Genesis style, dripping or tank rbas) Once you get coil building down and can make them to the resistance you want to vape at on an unregulated mod by all means get a mechanical. Or just a mechanical with a kick and just buy an ohms meter. They're many different ways of achieving your desired vape.
