Cool beans!
Been vaping for 2 months now and been wanting a Mod
since 4 weeks ago...still out of stock!...grrrrr
But alas, they're coming in next week...whew! I can breath, I can breath!
Meanwhile I've been tempted to get one of several that I like so far...
GLV-2, Prodigy3, Precise, ScrewDriver MKII, Mako, and a few others.
I decided to get the Megalodon as my first Mod.
Also getting the Mako as a 2nd Mod because I can get a couple more Mods
out of it with the extra sleeves. Been talking to Tim at MojuRepublic to see
if I can get the Mako prototype sleeves which are a shiny polished aluminum
that look real nice topped with polished brass end-caps. Look much nicer
than the stock sleeves that are selling right now.
Ok you vets out there. Are these high quality buys that will last upteen years,
or am I kidding myself? I've looked and keep looking for more Mods and maybe
I've missed some I should consider. I do admit I've ruled out a few, but only
when it looked like a fire-hydrant, a vibrator, a sawed-off flashlight tube, a
nut & bolt set, an electric ...., or uncle Vinney's Plumbware.
And anyone know where I can get a Protoge 5v Passthrough?
I'm also dying to know what are the best Atties for 3.7v, 5.0v, and 6.0v.
Been looking at Boge LowRes Cartomizers, IkenVape HV Atties, and
looking for some really good Standard Atties and Low-res Atties to
use as well (so far, haven't like SmokTech LR Atties).
And I very much appreciate high-quality stuff. I'm a commercial
photographer and I use a Hasselblad: a rock solid studio camera
(IMAX format), all mechanical, best lens in the world (Carl Ziess).
I don't need the most expensive Mods...but durable, oh yeah.
Sad to say , but a lot of us , have started , with the cheapo's . Only to regret not buying a mod , right away . None of us knew , until we had charged , one too many batteries , and been disappointed with vapor production , and throat hit . Again , cost was a big factor to me . Finally , I bit the bullet , and just went for it . Now I can't seem to stop . I buy every new mod , I run across . I like and use all of them , although ,I do have my favorites . What one person needs with more than a dozen mods , I don't know . I don't consider myself a collector , but I can't bear to part with , very many of them . I'm telling you now . It's a sickness .

Reo Grand , Prodigy V3.1 , Chuck , Mako , Phidias , GLV2super-mini
You love a Hasselblad, you would love a REO. All mechanical, bullet proof, juice on board, no muss, no fuss, beautifully finished and perfectly designed. Don't have to drip or use a tank. The tube mods are more like view cameras...great pieces of work, larger format, but you have to deal with sheet film.
Thanks mlinky!
So ya know 'bout view cameras eh? Cool...that was a helpful comparison. Thanks!
Looked up the Reo and watched some reviews on it...nice! That ReoMini looks like a
charm too. Love the construction on the metal ReoGrand & ReoMini by ReosMods.com
...and those awesome color schemes.
I'm definitely adding the 3.7v ReoMini w/a LR Atty to my Gotta Have That Mod List,
...it's just too darn cute & compact to pass up.
Whatcha' think of the new vMod by Vapege? --> Vapage VMOD
That's how I kinda felt recently. Not specifically about cigarettes -- I've been rid of those for months -- but about getting the most out of my vaping experience with regard to mods. I was going to get a NoEgo -- both of them -- but I kept thinking to myself, once day I'm still going to want to get a HV or VV mod, so I decided just to go right ahead and get a Provari. Still probably a couple of weeks until it gets here but it'll probably last be a good long time and satisfy my need for hardware. So I can concentrate on juice.
Lots and lots of juice.
If I stopped wasting money on juice I could buy a nice mod.
You will love the Provari, it is worth the wait and the cost. They are rock solid and give a consistent vape every single time to whatever you set them at. Too hot? Dial it down. Too cool? Dial it up. Lack of flavour? Dial around until you find the best flavour. I'm saving for my second one![]()
