The lower ohms are good for tobacco and coffee type flavors. If you like fruity and sweet, you may want to get some standard resistance. Good to do that anyway. Madvapes has boge horizontals I think. It's true about the crackle and spit. Some people actually like that. Feels more like smoking to some to hear that crackle. Same reason to like the lr cartos. But heat does kill flavor. Good to try some different resistance to see whats right for you.

If you can't find good 510 horizontals a 510 to 808 adapter is a good thing to have too and 808 horizontals are awesome on flavor.

I've used two different vertical coils and they both crackle and spit juice like crazy. Haven''t had that experience with the horizontal coils that I've used.

Also, I like sweet juices. Will the lower ohm cartos burn these juices?
never had a problem with the crackling. only had a problem with the spitting juice if i over filled the carto.

I highly recommend trying the Smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos (also called the Ressurectors). They are designed for 3.7V PVs like the kGo, Epower, riva, and they are awesome. They give an incredible vape and they hold about twice as much juice as the boges hold so you can refill alot less often.
Hoosier sells them and CCV has a really good deal on them. CCV has free shipping and If you buy a 15-pack you get a free drip tip.

Hi Angi,

You've probably already pulled the trigger at Hoosier, but if you haven't completed the order yet, add one of these from the cartomizer section.

XXXL clear dual coil From Smok Tech 1.5ohm with round rubber tip

I have a KGO from Hoosier too and all of the cartos that I got from there were good.

The clear one produced a really great flavor and it was really helpful to be able to see how the juice absorbs in cartos. An educational experience that will help you in the future as you fill cartos that you can't see through. Just keep in mind that it is fragile, so it won't take the abuse (like dropping it on the floor, etc) that a regular carto will. :)

Enjoy your KGO!!!

Agreed! I am using my first clear carto and it does have great flavor, and yes, it helps you visualize what is going on inside the cartos, and when they need to be topped off.

Heya Angi..

You are gonna love your KGo.. I do.

I did pick up an extra 2 KgO batteries, as I wanted at least 3 in my rotation to Always have one available.

I have been getting about 30hrs of moderate vaping from each battery.

I have been using the single coil 1.7 ohms and dual coil clear 1.5's... with great results.. ( The first one I ever filled is still going strong.. I have not had to throw one away yet..)

( Some vaping with my morning coffee, some toots on the way to work, some after my meals, and quite a bit after work..)

Good Luck and enjoy :)

- Vin
