thank you so much for this useful write-up....it certainly made me decide to get a manual and I have been analog free for 48 hours (AWESOME!!)

I have a question I can't seem to find answered anywhere and that is about the charging.....the little piece of paper that came with the Joye said charge for at least an hour even if the green light is on, but I read conflicting info on that and was wondering what the general consensus was??

Thanks in advance

How does someone make their own e-juice? Where can you buy the pure nicotine?
Should be a thread on the fron page right now in the new members section, someone asking the same thing.

Aloha DC.

Just my 2 nickels to thank you for the great piece.

Please don't lose sight of your original concept of keeping the package compact and concise...imo, new members need a capsule summary of info to serve as a GENERAL guide... sorta like a Cliff's Notes to Vaping. They can build on this as they move one.

There's always going to be info that people think should be added... but if newbies read just what you have now, they'd have a solid foundation and be off to a great start.

So to me, it's a pretty solid piece as it is now. Bravo DC!!

dunno if someone already made a note of this, but you should add in a piece about cartomizers, for me they were the holy grail
I would like to add a bit about cartomizers, but I just can't do that yet.
I can't recommend or encourage anyone to use cartomizers until the burning filler issue is resolved.

Telling people all they have to do is keep the filler wet is not good enough for me.
I could not in good conscious support or encourage newbies to use them at this point.

But hopefully someday...

Personally I have never had a burning filler issue arise with my use of cartomizers, I sure as hell got a lungfull of filler when I used regular carts though lols. At the least you could recommend the mainstream kr's like V4l or the nebula etc, I'm not sure if those have ever had the filler problem you described (since I've never had one) but those companies seem responsible enough to fix the problem if one should arise. As a device that doesn't need to be refilled every 10-15 minutes its a real contender, and with a battery that lasts almost 3 times as long as the traditional 510 battery, I think many beginners should view them as a great starter kit (not to mention that in my personal experience with cartomizers, they last much longer and require less maintenance than any "atomizer" i've ever owned, I really hated blowing out 901 atties every night ). In fact many people start with the kr-808 and never move up to mods because of its consistent performance and above average vapor production

I had to chime in here too, THANKS!!
I am a notorious researcher when I want to buy something. I spent hours in the forum reading, but only found this AFTER ordering. Lucky for me, I had enough info to order decent stuff. I am waiting on my pair of eGos (manual 510s with larger battery) from Cignot. Will try the HP cartmod if they give me any trouble at all. Also ordered a bottle of Torque 56 from Halo since it got such high praise here (as Harley 56, before they changed the name).

The wealth of info here warrants a sticky, not sure why it was unstickied. :?:

Anyway, massive kudos to the authors!!! :toast:
