Thought i'd update my button saga, finally found something suitable, took the plunger out of a syringe cut it down to fit over original button, works a treat and saves worrying about button falling out again

So, why are these buttons doing this? Seems to be happening to a few people now. Anything that can be done to prevent this from happening?

I did my old Purple Buzz Pro along time ago. It's now polished aluminum and has the small button again.

Damn, there goes another one. How long have you been using it before it broke? I bought my blue one about a month or so ago and am hoping mine doesn't end up doing the same thing.

About 2 months from the time it came back from the same problem being fixed. The button is, I think, a rubber compound that is easily torn with lateral force. I think maybe I should stop carrying the BP in my pocket. Being pushed into and pulled out of my pocket seems to be the problem. But WTF, my pocket is where it needs to go. I don't like holsters unless they have a 45 or 9 mil in them.

Add on. I love my BP's. They are my go to device, I don't really want to use anything else. I hope Mike can come up with a different button, or a button mod add on to protect the button from regular wear and tear. I'm starting to become hesitant to take the BP's out of the house. But most of my life is spent out of the house, unless I'm sleeping. The button should be more durable.

I am going to look into it Keys , these have held up really well in the past , I think they may have changed the design ?? we did get some bad ones and have gotten rid of them , your original change could have been one of those ?

I don't know about design changes Mike. My first of three Buzz Pros has been used and abused with no problems. But the later buttons seem fragile.

Hopefully the fix this time holds up for you. It's got to be really frustrating. I carry mine in my pockets all the time, too. If I just lay my finger on the button without any pressure I can rock it back and forth really easily. Hopefully that is normal.
