Buzz Pro Help!!!

Not open for further replies.
I need some experienced advice Please.

My Buzz Pro only lasts me anywhere from 2-5 hours of run time.
I bought 2 new sets of batteries and I got max 5 hours out of one of the sets. Its usually dead in 3
Now if I unscrew the bottom cap everytime I'm not vaping I get up to 14 hours.
I'm using a standard atty and the ultra fire 16340 Battery. Should I just get a replacement bottom cap or do I send it in for repair?
Thoughts of the Buzz in the shop will give me serious nightmares because there is no comparison when it comes to vaping in my opinion. Thanks for listening

Something seems to be odd. Its possible its the batts. Do you have a meter to test the voltage after they come off the charger and after they seem to be dead?

Perhaps mike will have some further insight.

I'm in agreement with Ruppy. Something just isn't right here.

You should get many more hours than 2-5. More like 14 hours(maybe minimum).

I just finished using a set of Flame Trustfires....and I can document 55 hours total from the time I installed them until they died, vaping at 5V with cartos consistanly. I've even had better times than that at times.

I always use a multimeter and check voltages. Before-after, and when fully charged. Just something I like to do.
That's why I have a Fluke.:thumb:

I have the same issue. Will check with meter tomorrow, however after 3weeks it quit firing yesterday. Tighted middle screw. Nothing. Loosened screw nothing. Alcohol bath nothing. Tried fusion with adaptor and 501 by itself. I got about 1 hour tonight then nothing. Red light is on. Press button turns blue. Attach carto at last tighten right as or makes a connection red light dims and no longer turns blue when firing. I'm stumped, however I never got more than 5 hours out of my batteries unless I loosened bottom cap when not vaping? Don't want to send it in but I'm out of ideas.

I'll try to pic up a meter today and check my charger. I have the Trust Fire Mlti functional Tr-001 charger if that helps any. If it comes down to it, I'll but a whole new set up. I'll give you another example of whats happening also. Last night I put in brand new charged batteries around 10 pm vaped till 11 pm then let sit overnight till 8:45 am, Vaped 2 hits and battery was dead.
I cried a little then put new batteries in and was happy again...lol Thank you for the posts on helping me out. You guys rock!!!!

I was getting a consistent 9 hours out of the Ultrfires at first. That was a 50% improvement over the oldschool Buzz. (was getting 6 hours on that.)
I'm getting 12 or 13 hours out of the Powerizer batteries now. I go through about 6 mls a day.
BTW mike. The Powerizer that I thought had died came back to life after I let it sit for a day just like you said. :)

K. Checked. Powerizers show 4.2 fresh of charger. Screwed and in screwed side screw several times. Removed top cap and all screws. Cleaned with alcohol. Replaced everything. Add batteries. Nothing. After about 1 minute red light. Hit button turn blue. I think great just juice under cap. No such luck. Add carto. Fine until last 1/4 turn when red light flashes and dims. Hit button and light goes out completely. Wait for 1 minute red light is back. Hit button nothing and light disappears. Almost think over protection is kicking in. Very discouraged. I've had so many problems vaping. Now my igo tastes like s**t after using buzz and tank.

I checked my charger and its reading 4.2v. I got 5 hours out of mine today with about 1 hr of straight vaping in between those hours. Seems like there is a constant drain when the batteries are in for some reason. I'm most likely gonna wait till the Infinity ∞ Pro comes out, get that and then send this one to get looked at. Anyone know how long the run time is on them?

OK try cleaning the bottom cap surfaces and bottom of the tube , this is weird , not normal or something I have seen before ! .

take off the atty and test the voltage on the top connection for me , see what you get .

Are these the silver UF batts >?? If so you might have some bad ones , we have seen some not so good ones in this last batch.

Yes they are the silver ones. I'll buy 2 more sets this week and see if that makes a difference. Are you through with that batch of batteries yet? Also can I get a custom battery for the buzz? Like go to a battery store and have them make me a set?
Thanks BuzzKill !!

Mine are the powerizers and only last 4-5 hours unless I unscrew bottom cap. Have since day one. If input new batteries in before bed and leave in "standby mode" with red light on will be dead by morning.

Humm I would have to test that one to see , if it is drawing excess current while on then something is wrong with the controller or ?? do you have a current meter ?? or DMM that can read current ?
