Exactly. LOL

Staying semi on topic. I picked up the new Aperture 3 and WOW I am impressed. I had a real bad taste in my mouth from version 1 and the 1.5 upgrade but the new version is KILLER. I managed to collapse 10 years of digital photos from 4 machines into one GIANT library, wack all the dupes (masters and versions), and, using the new Faces feature, tag all my family and friends. I am trimmed down to a mere 10,000 photos that are easy to find! It is like a weight is off my shoulders.

This is the most on topic thread I have seen since I got here! It started on photography and it is still on photography. I'll have to check out that program. I've installed light room, but rarely use it. I purchased my first digital a little over 10 years ago, and I sadly have everything organized in folders in my 'My Pictures Folder' All things considered it is pretty well organized!

Did you do much shooting on 35mm cameras before the dawn of the digital? I wish there was a program to organize the 10,000 still shots from way back when sitting in a large tupperware! My daughter does not believe she was born. Didn't have a digital back then so there are not hundreds of pictures to go through of her 'first year' on my computer like there is for my son. All the digital photo frames in the house start with her at age 4 and up! But there are thousands of photos of her from back in the day of good old 35mm film.

I do not miss the cost of developing a roll... I'm a big clicker... why take one picture of something when you can take 20!

Only way is to scan them all with a good scanner. It would take awhile. Can only do 4 at a time lol. about 3 min each at high resolution.
