Hi all,

Was there a definitive answer to this?

Received my "Buzz Pro" earlier this week (root beer & brass and serial 1,155) and under 10 days from US to UK! I have the same issue with the hit control, just touching the yellow mark on the right is 4.2v and just toughing the left 4.8v, no more than a couple of mm movement.

I sent an email through notcigs site (thanks for the quick reply) and tried the suggestion of moving the wheel back and forth 20 times, however, this didn't resolve it and the voltage change in the area is still very sensitivity.

Read numerous posts on the notcigs forum and tired pure alcohol rinse to clear out an gunk and loosened screw in the top cap and looked inside to see if connections were ok and problems evident (ps these posts were excellent, thanks).

I know some say they just find a sweet spot and leave it there to vape but I like to use various atties/cartos from LR to HR and when I need to dial in around the yellow mark it quite fiddly and to get it right.

The Buzz Pro is good (the M1A1 exceptional ... such a simple concept and works flawlessly) but a solution and/or assistance would be much appreciated, it would make the buzz pro near :vapor: perfection!

Thanks

Mike is aware of the problem. He said the wrong pots may have been sent to him. We are still waiting to hear back from him.

I have tested mine under load and my wheel works fine between low and yellow and between red and high. I get .4 volt changes with slight turns between yellow and red though. Yellow is 4.24volts under load but if i turn it ever so slightly it jumps to 4.8 volts.

4.3/4.4/4.5/4.6/4.7 kind of get lost somewhere.

I was going to give it time to see if I get use to it, just looking for any solutions without the need to send it back. The markings are bang on the money at 3.33 (green), 4.5 (yellow) and 5.2 (red), so I'll just have to see if I can retrain my monkey-like touch around the yellow.

Cheers for the advice.

I have the same issue as well but it's no biggie to me now. I already know it's sensitive pass the yellow so I adjust accordingly.

Unfortunately this is the POT or wheel , they have a taper to them ( linear response ) out of the 1,000's we get some are not perfect and have been sensitive in this area ( just my luck ! ) if this is the case it has to be replaced, we do not test for sensitivity because it is rare. I need to look into checking this in production .

Cheers BuzzKill, no problem.

Will it be a matter of purchasing a replacement part or returning my buzz pro to the US? Just let me know which one it is and the details what I need to do. PM me if it's more convenient than posting here all the time.

Thanks again for your response and assistance, hope this can be resolved as it's looks and feels quality and a great vaper!!! Plus it doesn't in any way resemble remote control! (Sorry other vv users, just a bit of tongue in cheek :D ... each to their own).

Thanks.

I download the form and completed it. I'll put in the post (reluctantly) after the UK May bank holiday, so probably the 8th (I'll notify Notcigs via the website with the tracking details etc). I'll send it by Airsure tracked with insurance to cover the value of the buzz pro, should it go missing!!! The horror!

I'll completed a CN 22 and note that it's "Return for Repair under Warranty" so as to ensure US customs don't wrongly apply tax & duty. The parcel will also include the original invoice and a cover note for Notcigs with advice for the return shipping so UK customs can identify it as a return and not a new purchase.

I think this covers all the bases but if I've overlooked something just let me know.

I appreciate all your assistance :D
