On a different topic, what are people's thoughts on mini box mods?
01-28 #4
I guess my VTR would be a full size "box" mod. I like it extremely well. I have tried the wife's MVPs. They are ok, but the fire button is in the wrong place.
Now her new istcks are nice. They could work well in warmer weather when I don't have my coat on all the time.

I have various tanks of various sizes. I still use the little Aerotanks. I put juices in them that I have about 10-15 ml of or flavors that I know I will tire of after a tank or 2. The larger tanks get juices that I vape daily pretty much and ones I make 30 ml at a time. Single coils generally keep the amount I vape down but tried son's Kayfun V4 the other day... not sure how he had it set up but got a real buzz off 3 mg and emptied the tank... 5 ml in less than 90 min. I don't care much for set-ups that go through juice like that.

The Fogger tanks and the Lemo are what I have been using the most as my large tanks.

Joan, if you want any more Aerotanks, mini or mega let me know, I will give you a GREAT deal on them, well obscene deal on them. still love my 2 aerotanks!

I know what you mean about the fire button on the MVP. My thumb bothers me a lot when I've vaped on it too long. I've also never liked having the USB thingy on the bottom. It means you have to lay it down while charging, so if you've got a tank that leaks while it's lying down, you have to take it off to charge it. It sure was a step up from my Egos and Spinners, but now that I've used mechs and my E-Mech, it just isn't the same for me.

IMO the V2 is better, its the improved version :) Bull City Vapor has a great price on flavoring and its about 1.25 less than ordering it from Capellas...
Cool,i'll give it a try when i make my next flavor order.Bull city has some good prices, they are my go to flavor spot unless i'm getting the 4oz. Tfa stuff, then i usually get those direct from Tfa,but the last one i bought,i got from Bull city too,it was only .50 cents more, plus i was getting some capella stuff so it was easier haha.

I've never gotten headaches from high PG, but I have from chain vaping high nicotine juices. I also can't chain vape some of the really expensive juices, even when they are lower in nicotine and high in VG. There are a few that make me a little bit head achy and sick feeling.

I too have had some headaches. Slowly trying to lower my nic levels to get away from it. Love nicotine but my heart doesn't really need it.

I know it's vaping heresy but once in a while you just need to put it down....
That's right, drop the mod, back away slowly, keep your hands where we can see them and nobody gets hurt......

This isn't my recipe,it's from one of the diy threads, but i can tell you,it's good stuff, and i'm not even a fruit person haha, but i've made this a few times now.

10% Capella Sweet Strawberry
5% LorAnn Cream Cheese Icing
3% TFA Bavarian Cream
3% TFA Vanilla Swirl
2% Capella Vanilla Custard
3% TFA Cotton Candy
1% TFA Sweetner

I've got some TFA Strawberries n Creme......would love to make a nice vape from it but really screwed it up the first time around. I think I'm gonna try again in the next few days.

Anyone wanna share a recipe? I know I should be asking in the ejuice section but this may generate a few posts for folks. Thanks

Here's the recipe BM found on the internet. I substituted a couple of different brands of flavorings, including substituting the strawberry because I only had LA strawberry, and it still came out really good. You might get a good start by trying it and adjusting the flavorings to suit your taste.

PB...will give it some thought.

Box mods, mini and not so mini. I went through the 'find a device that I can get a full day of vape time from" I love the 1600 mah Vision Spinners but needed 3 to get thru a day. Ended up with an MVP and that button killed my hands and didn't get a full day from it either. Most say they got 2 or 3 days from them. Actually guess I got several days between charges too as I could vape it one day and hands were so sore that I used the Spinners the rest of the week before trying the MVP again. I ended up getting myself a Dovpo E Mech. I have the purple Efest 3100 mah batteries in it. I get a full day with it. It is down to the last bar by the time I go to bed and charged when I get up. Bought a spare so I rotate them. Guess I just really like the Dovpo products. I have an E LVT here too. Bought for hubby who can destroy just about anything. He wouldn't use it so I was until the E Mechs came along. I just recently won a Dovpo DT 50 and I love it too. The other Dovpo devices have a spring loaded 510 and they chose to put an adjustable screw in this one. It is a fantastic device but just need to make sure I have a screwdriver with me. It is smarter than I am and sets the device to match the ohms of whatever tank I use. I have an iStick too for towning and it works well for that... if I can find it. It is small enough that I tend to misplace it a lot.

Strawberry and cream vapes... what other flavors you have to go with??? Start slow with just a few flavors and get to know the flavor itself. It may or may not need to steep. Not sure since the strawberry/cream are already mixed if steep is needed. If you take strawberry and add a cream to it... steep is probably going to change it.

Got my kanger subtank mini today.....3 words....OMG! I don't have enough battery to sub ohm with it yet so I'm using the 1.2ohm stock coil. The thing kicks out so much flavor it blows my mind. Been honkin on the thing all day and have managed to stir up a headache...lol. Oh well, time for bed so I can do it again.

I love my Subtank too. It's great to have a tank with the option to build it yourself or use stock coils in. Great flavor and no leaking!

Cactus has all three on sale!

Kanger Subtank Mini
Kanger Subtank Nano

Just to let everyone know: the MVP 3.0 solves both of those problems.

See, now you guys are starting to give me that itch! Yes, I was thinking about picking one or two up.... but, like Joan, I've been doing pretty well with my Aerotanks. But if I pick up a subtank then the flavor will be better than the aeros and the aeros will stop being loved....

I feel sort of responsible for you buying the MVP Joan. I remember that I had just gotten my MVP when you joined ECF. I had only been here for a few months, and I was just upgrading from Egos and Spinners. To me, at the time, it felt like the perfect device. It was such a big step up from what I had been using. It lasted me for a few days, had VV/VW, and went all the way up to 11 watts! Wow so much better than the Spinners! I was also thinking of getting into rebuilding, and it read ohms. I could also recharge it when I was on a long car ride using my cellphone chord. I couldn't imagine anyone not having good luck with it, and I remember telling you about how great it was. I felt kind of guilty when you didn't love it like I did.

I'm still not sorry I bought mine, it kept me satisfied for a long time, and I still use it while driving because my Spinners died a long time ago. Only problem is that now, when I go to use it, I don't get a very satisfying vape. I got spoiled by my better stuff.

I don't think I would ever buy another device with a proprietary battery. Even though my MVP is still going a year later, it seems like such a waste that when the battery doesn't hold a charge any more, the whole device will be dead. With the E-Mech, I can just put new batteries in.

(For anyone wanting the E-Mech, Bruce can special order them for you, just pm him, that's how I got mine, at a very good price)!
