Bruce, you have some beautiful drip tips, and they were only 2 or 3 dollars. You need to put them on Pinterest or something and tell people to pm you if they are interested. Drip tips should be okay for Paypal, since they aren't nicotine, and you can always call them "mouthpieces"! :)

These are just a few of the drip tips Bruce had on his site, and they were all inexpensive and of really good quality.

Anyone know how vaping originated?Just curious how it all started.

1/31 1

Started with a Chinese inventor whose father died from lung cancer, smoking related. He was looking to create a safer alternative and succeeded. The early models were all of the cig-a-like type, smaller than the 510 models and with terrible battery life. The early adopters found dripping superior to the horrendous cartridges available, and others found modifying a flashlight or laser pointer improved battery life and the race for improvements was on.....

Stosh is correct that the current scene stems from that. However, I seem to recall there was some guy in the 50's or 60's that developed a vapor cigarette, too.... Apparently, he couldn't get it to market at the time.

A lot if you are changing the bore of the hole & the atty can handle more air flow.
Dark Horse with super wide bore has massive air flow.

Friction fit wide bore will increase air flow & allow you to put a glass dropper all the way inside your atty to refill

Some of the wide bore tips that have o-rings & only slightly bigger than normal holes at 510 connection give slight increase in air flow and allow you to refill by putting the dropper in the tip.

I know that the Dark Horse top will fit on the Zenith and Legion (people calling them the Dark Zenith and Dark Legion) been thinking of seeing if it will go on the Magma and make it a Dark Magma...
Heden, you ever try that?

1/31 ..#1 I don't dare do all that drilling..I don't think I could..

Lots of vape shops down here drill stuff if you go in and ask them.
I only drill a very select few attys.
I gotta say that the doge and the Dark horse are my favorites as they have great air flow in and the large chuff caps put the wide bore drip tips to shame but with that said I do favor a wide bore on my doge

I've got a chuff cap for my Dark Horse, (at least I think it's the Dark Horse that came with a chuff cap), I need to try it again and see how I like it!

Yea the Dark Horse comes with the large chuff and the standard size tip.
try it kathi, easy build and if the chuff is too big you can just put the smaller one on... once you go chuff (and get used to it) you never go back Ha Ha! for me it was a BIG game changer!

I hear ya Kathi, they were kinda hard to keep track of and keep in inventory plus the company I was getting them from would sometimes discontinue them, it was a real pain in the rump and then I had to put about 20 of them on one page and try to figure out how to set up the page for them, heck even I got confused looking att that page so I imagine it was a bit confusing for my customers as well.

Yea, I could get away with selling a lot of items on the site via paypal, batteries drip tips bottles chuff caps etc. but the word "Vape" and "esmokes" pisses them off not to mention the Paypal option on my site pisses off the CC company as well, its a pickle if I want to sell attys or mods :confused::ohmy::unsure::facepalm:

Yes, you heard right. I just got a notice on those today. also Kanger is coming out with its first box mod

Yeah, I think I saw some pictures of the Kanger box from the Phil Busardo/Dimitri trip. Looks like it has 5 wattage settings...? (I'll update if I can find the link.)

really not something I personally would be interested in.
the new IPV mini (70 watt) or the IPV2X (60 watt) IMO would be better... maybe the 50Watt Istick

I do like my Dark Horse a lot. I need to try it with the chuff cap. I've been using the Lemo, Subtank and Magma for the last couple of weeks, and haven't switched them out. It seems like when I am vaping with equipment I'm really enjoying, I don't switch out until I need to rebuild. :)

Then just put them on Pinterest, post the link, and tell anyone who's interested to pm you and you'll check to see if what they want is in stock and give them a price. Then they can Paypal you for "mouthpieces". :)

Does it take replaceable batteries, or just a proprietary one? I don't think I would buy a regulated mod that doesn't use at least dual 18650's. I got spoiled by the E-Mech, and even though it's a mech mod, by the battery life on the Box Troll.

Could have been both, I'm not sure. I believe he was the first to develop an e-cig that used a nicotine liquid. I could be wrong but the earlier models of "safe cigarettes" that Count referenced were using heated tobacco, and tobacco plugs.

We've certainly come a long way since then, and none too soon. It's given so many long term smokers a way to really stop killing themselves after years of failed attempts with less effective methods.
