Cake Batter - sediment

Quick query; my searching has yielded no results. I have some cake batter from NF that tastes REALLY GOOD, but gunks cartos and leaves sediment deposits in the bottom of my tanks. I am wondering if I could put the flavoring through a couple coffee filters to remove said sediment. Would this work? Would de-sedimentized flavoring lose significant flavor?

Don't know, but it sucks when you find a great mix that craps up your equipment.

It's worth an experiment to find out if a filter will help or hurt.

I have a peanut butter cup recipe that does this. Gunks up coils in one tank full. But it's delicious; so I deal with it.
