In preparation for the release of the 308 upon Isaacs return from Vapestock, I have put together some pointers so folks can get the most benefits from their newly acquired purchase. This video can be seen here as well as on both vendors sites once embeded.

The 308 was designed around one of the(I believe the 801 mini) ikv 801 atties so finding the attys should not be a problem, also I would be quite surprised if Isaac didnt carry the batteries for the 308.

He is bringing 11 with him. Donating one to the cause and 10 for sale. Should he sell them all, then 29 should be left for sale when he opens up shop. The remaining 10 that found their way to Maple Leaf Vapes in Canada. At present time, those 10 units will be sold in Canada exclusively in order to test Canadian waters.

So that is 40 units for the US and 10 for Canada which is an increase of 30% from intended as only 50 units will ever be built, plus the 2 commemorative sets.

Price point is flexible for the vendor but the bare bones unit will be below $70

The calibre series
​

What is the calibre series? The calibre series is a line of battery mods built entirely by hand which contain no commercial components with the exception of the o-ring fitted on the drip tip. So what makes them special?

• it is not just a PV but a collectible device;
• it is an all mechanical device;
• aluminium is the chosen material for its conductivity and lightness;
• it is a bottom fired device, yet extremely comfortable to fire;
• it is designed around my favourite PV, the eGo, with a twist. You will be able to change your own battery, yet vape like an eGo;
• it is designed around the IKV line of atomizers. Why? They are top performers and although I may not be fussy wrt proprietary atomizers, it is a must. Without the cone, any atty will fit its native connections;
• the line is the "Bullet", scaled replicas of actual bullets;
• they come as a limited edition, serial numbered complete with certificate of authenticity. Each unit coming with its own drip tip (shaped like the business end of a hollow point;
• the drip tips are a unique design that precludes even the thickest of VG liquids from hanging up while dripping;
• they come in a variety of calibres, and only a total of 52 units of each calibre will ever be made. 25 for the US and 25 for Canada <---- not a math error, continue reading;
• the first calibre to be released is the 308. The 308 sports a powerful AW-IMR 18350 700mAh battery. Topped off with either a 1.8 or 2 Ohm LR 801 mini, this unit is a fog machine;
• the second calibre to be released will be the 7mm mag. The 7mm sports a powerful AW 14670 @1100mAh battery. Topped off with either a Std or LR 510 atomiser;
• the third calibre to be released is the 50 cal, a big bullet for the big boys. This unit will accept the AW 18650 LI Ion 2600mAh battery for 3.7V vaping, 2 x AW LifePo4 batteries for 6V vaping or 2 x AW RCR123As 7V. This will be only device in this particular line that will be capable of LV, HV and XHV vaping. It is designed to fire the HV and XHV 801 shortys.
• the grand daddy of them all and last in the line is the 20mm canon rd. Sporting an AW IMR 26500 2300mAh battery for an engine. Topped off with an LR 801 shorty, this bad boy pumps out the vapour;
• the entire line is developed around the AW battery because of their consistencies and performance. This way here every set of batteries you order, you will know they fit; and
• each unit is individually fitted and functionally tested prior to leaving the shop, and come with a 30 day limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Nothing should go wrong in an all mechanical device and hence the limited warranty.

The released units in each series will be numbered 2-26. I will be reserving the #1s of each run (US1 and C1) and offer them as a commemorative set in a handcrafted velour box. If all goes well, I anticipate the 2 commemorative sets will be available for Christmas 2011, perhaps only 1 set. The production of 2 sets is largely dependent on the Canadian market.

There were unexpected delays in delivering the first of the run as expected. Subsequently 8-10 weeks between releases can be expected.

Your way to modest switch, I can guarantee that he will not be coming back with any of them especially at the price point you have mentioned. Thats cool though because 29 is still more than the 25 that was suppose to be for sale in the USA. It does make me even more bummed out that I cant get down to vapestock.

NOT AT ALL my friend !! Im going to do everything in my power !! Im just not gonna get my hopes up too high. These works of art are already in high demand...10 are pretty much gone "vapestock" Sooo..I have a 1 in ??? chance at it...still a chance there for I will do what I can.

I'm getting one as well. Isaac knows I'll drive to his house and stalk his return from vapestock if I have to... lmfao.

I want this release and the 50cal because I love 6v vaping so much haha.
