And I did!!!!!! This is definitely one cute mod. I had forgotten how good the 801 is. I showed it to sooo many at Vapestock and then took it over to the vapetv stream. This is one for the collection for sure. Very nice attention to the look of a .308-any gun collector will love this series!
I am on the road for a few days and will spend some time with the .308 and get to know it a bit better. So far-real good!

Glad you like it Tina. I owe the idea to a few here as we discussed how to make the 801 shorty a "better" performer. In my opinion there was only one way to go. Make a device that vapes like an eGo, but with a good engine and no electronics.

Starting on the let and moving right, Standard 510, 650mah eGo, 900mah eGo, and the Calibre. I am so in love with this beauty.
With Ikenvapes LR 1.8ohm atty it hits like a sledge hammer! Ever since I got it set up I haven't even looked at my eGo's nor the dual-coil cartos that I am so in love with. This is now my drip machine.
I'm afraid of taking it out of the house though...It would be just awful if something bad happened.

Cool beans Are you using a midi or std 801 on there? With the shorty it is much more aesthetically pleasing as the dript tip just fits inside the shoulder It doesn't affect the vape though. I am glad you are enjoying it, yes they are hard to put down

Unfortunately, Isaac didn't have any shorty's at the show...at least I didn't get one. No worries though...I'm planning a HUGE order just as soon as I can from him.

OK, now no haters please. I have got to explain this situation because of how much it meant to me and how big of an ... I now feel about it all.

At Vapestock I purchased a TON of stuff from Isaac, including the Calibre. I managed to misplace the damn thing and I ran all over the place looking for it to no avail. I thought I was going to cry. I checked every single bag I had brought with me at least 10 times each, turned over the hotel room I was staying in, walked everywhere looking for it...nothing, nada, zilch. Isaac had heard about my misfortune and walked right up to me and handed me another one...for free.

When I got home, I took everything out of my car and cleaned it out pretty thoroughly and low and behold, VOILA, my original Calibre had fallen behind the seat and rolled under it...

So, now I have 2.

I haven't been able to get in touch with Isaac yet, but rest assured he'll know about it as soon as I can get him the message. And before anybody asks, NO, I'm not selling it either. I'm keeping them as a set simply because of how much they now mean to me.

Isaac completely blew me away. When he walked up to me and handed me another one, I thought I was going ot lose it. I actually was completely speechless...which, if you know me you'll understand is something of a feat in and of itself.

If you really want to do the right thing I would think that sending the extra one back would be the best thing, I dont know if you know this or not but there are only fifty being made ever so that extra one that you have would really make someone else happy. I am not trying to tell you what to do but more so explaining the situation.
edit; Just so its clear I am not trying to be a hater I just know that many people that want one of these will not get one.

From a manufacturing stand point I do not have much to say in the matter. Considering their price point and limited quantity, I believe you know full well what needs to be done in this situation and I know you will do the right thing.

Agreed, agreed, and agreed again. There is only ONE right thing to do. Never take advantage of Isaac's great generosity and absolute kindness. A better man would be hard to find. IMO
