Hello all,
Not sure what forum this belongs in...

Can someone please recommend a decent brand of calipers that is under 30 bucks? Analog - vernier or dial, mini or not. Or digital.

I am having a rough time sorting through Google then sorting through countless ratings. You've been through it,
on one site, #1 rated on the next site they sux.

There has got to be someone here that uses them right?

Go to Ace Hardware and buy a General Dial Caliper. It's plastic, but very useful. I've had mine for about ten years. It was originally purchased for wooden boat maintenance and repair.

ETA: This is the same model you can buy at Harbor Freight Tools, but it costs over $20.00 there.

They have many others. The dial scale versions tend to be quite pricey.
