I just bought a cordless lawn mower with 2 40 volt 5000 mah batteries. I really did, and then I wondered if I could use it for vaping.

But more on point. I have 2 liters of 100mg nic (that will last me to age 97). I have 8 18650 mods (some in original packaging). A couple of dozen different tanks and drippers (all rebuildable). 3 reels of wire and plenty of cotton. Even a couple of mech mods.

Sounds like a 10S2P battery. Chances are good there's 20 18650 cells in each of those batteries. :D

I think I with the Pico. The problem is the place I buy from only seems to have the kit TC kit for $38.95.
I don´t want the new tank and sub-om etc.

I have also come across the eVic VTC Mini 75W TC without buying a kit.
There are plenty of state side online vendors with just the mod for under $30. Try vapeshop or myvaporstore, or any other number of shops you find in a google search. Heck vapenw has the kit with tank for $30 right now or the new mega pico with tank for $38.

Man everyone is sold on this Pico. Gonna have to get one, and see if it's what I want to purchase 10 of. So far I don't really have anything I'm too crazy about. Like my Vaporesso Tarot not sure if anyone else does, RX200 is real nice but the 510 connect has me thinking not long term, iSticks are a year old, NEbox is an NEbox, Encom Voidray I actually like a lot and it can be run over by a car... but no one else really has them. And I haven't opened my two Authentic Toptank kits yet.

Pico is a great portable mod. The only downside is the battery cap means you can't fit anything over 23mm. I have 4 in rotation, 4 in the stockpile, and will likely be ordering 4 or more spares (+ another couple istick 200tc and rx200s) in the upcoming months.

While stocking up and now reading your post, the memory of having a cigarette and no means to light it comes to mind! :D

I have a generator specifically for the freezer, refrigerator, and well. It runs off natural gas, propane, or gasoline. It's directly connected to a 1,000 gallon propane tank.

It wasn't specifically purchased for nicotine but that's a bonus!

You might be able to rent out freezer space to local vapers!

    Business ventures abound!

Actually, I know no vapers in my area. I get the same response from ALL my smoking friends here when they see me vaping, "Those things are SO bad for you!" I feel compelled to nicely set them straight with the facts but it gets frustrating. They only do it once, but still, I don't rag on them for smoking!

I like your set-up. Ours just runs on gasoline but I am really glad we have it. It has come in handy numerous times through the years since we usually have at least one ice storm during the winter around here and down come the lines  Ours is big enough to run the whole house except for the electric furnace. We have natural gas back-up heating for that. Guess you could say we were preppers long before vaping entered our lives :D

I think the Pico has been such a hit because they really checked off all the right boxes, and seem to have used decent quality control in construction. For $30, you have small form factor (only downside is a tank bigger than 23 mm, but honestly for such a small mod, a giant tank will look silly and be awfully top heavy with a high tip rate), 75W enough for lots of users, TC if you want it, and a replaceable battery (a requirement for a stash mod). So an excellent value for many vapers, and I'm using it right now with a Bellus on top. I have two still in boxes (after checking they work) just for my stash (besides, I really wanted the SS when it was released, so clearly stocking up was my excuse motivation).

We're preppers, I admit it. Don't get me started on Mountain House. LOL

.....For now I want to have a little fun. This post is not for people like me who are laying in a few bottles of nic in the freezer. I want to hear from those who are SERIOUSLY prepared. For example:

    - Do you have a backup generator for the freezer where the nic is stashed?

    - Have you bought vg,pg or nic in 55 gal. drums?

    - How many unopened mods and miles of wire do you have?

    - etc

    - Do you have a backup generator for the freezer where the nic is stashed?
I do have a generator but don't need it for the liquid nic, it doesn't "spoil" like food. If it warms to room temperature for a day or two (or five) it causes no real harm whatsoever.

    - Have you bought vg,pg or nic in 55 gal. drums?
I don't stockpile VG or PG they're primarily used by (and will be available through) industries other than vaping. However, because of price I do buy both in large quantities and consequentially have enough on-hand to last years. The one thing I did -intentionally stockpile- was 100mg liquid nic, I have enough stored at -10F to meet my needs for life but will continue buying for as long as it remains legal/available to purchase and prices remain low. When prices surge, I'll have no real need to buy more, ever. I've bought/stored more than I'll need in order to help friends/family who can't afford this type of "extortion insurance" to protect themselves from a dishonest, corrupt government. I'm fortunate that I -can- afford to do so and happen to have a large industrial freezer sitting in my shop with ample freezer space. While I do enjoy helping/supplying others what REALLY winds my clock is knowing every time I do it will deny government the money it would have extorted from someone who really couldn't afford the loss... Priceless. In this way I get to flip the government a finger of appreciation, a salute of sorts that I feel it richly deserves.

    - How many unopened mods and miles of wire do you have?
I didn't intentionally stockpile resistance wire because of FDA regulation, its primary use is in the electronics' industry where it'll remain -readily- available and relatively cheap even after 2018. However, last June I did buy two 500' spools of 26ga wire while on-sale at half price ($14 ea shipped) so likely have enough on-hand to last my lifetime. I do have quite a few mods and attys but not because I set out to stockpile them, most are just what I've accumulated in the past few years of trying new/different stuff (shinyitus). The only "real" stockpile purchase I've made for hardware/gear is four 75watt Picos for $100 shipped. I just really like them, might even get a few more before it's said and done.

    - etc
I know... you were really wanting to hear from prepping -extremists- and up to this point it may not sound like I'm an avid, over the top, hard core vape survivalist but in truth I am and have been since 2013. I just went about "prepping" for the vape-apocalypse in a different way, buying/storing stuff isn't the only viable solution to potential (or de facto) bans and draconian taxes/fees/costs. I vape NETs and NET-hybrids exclusively (they're why I started vaping) and fearing a ban, loss of product availability (de facto ban) or cigarette level taxation I set out to learn how to make them and become totally "self-sufficient". There's a Liquid Extraction from Tobacco sub-forum here on ECF that addresses exactly that and I've been a regular contributor since joining ECF, in fact it's the very reason I joined. Over the past three years I've extracted flavor from hundreds of different cigar/pipe/whole leaf tobaccos in countless individual extractions experimenting with various methods/techniques/solvents. My goal was not only "self-sufficiency" but for variety, the ability to make at least a dozen -different- high quality NETs/hybrids that suit my personal taste, I'm there and have been since last year. "Premium" NETs cost around $0.03 per ml to make and that includes the cost of liquid nic. Since I make my own I'm immune to; state e-liquid taxes, future on-line purchase bans/restrictions, the soon to be added high cost of FDA approval/compliance, potential problems with customs/interstate shipping, favorite flavor(s) suddenly disappearing from the market and etc... By learning how to make my own I divorced government from the equation, kicking its ugly, corrupt, lying derrière to the curb where it belongs. Had I not feared the effects of government interference/involvement I never would have bothered. How's that for -extreme- prepping? ;)

"but we don't know enough about vaping blah blah blah..."

"we know enough about smoking though. 400K+ dead last year in the US alone."

    nuff said.

Gearbest is selling Pico's for like 23 bucks. The price varies some, I just bought 2 more last week for $39 bringing my total to 7. Now they are around 23 depending on color. Just be prepared to wait if you want free shipping.

I wouldn't feel safe ordering over seas right now so close to 8/8. Lots of stateside vendors have them for under $30 and you would have them faster, well before 8/8. A few extra bucks is worth it IMO. I want more picos but have to wait a few weeks, or a month or two, and will be ordering them from wov, mvs or vapenw
