It is of course difficult to make unsubstantiated claims with a foundation.
People didn't accuse Evolv of coping because they did not copy anyone, they developed and patent the technology.
You probably don't know Evolv were the first to offer variable wattage too. Everyone else copied that too.

In law, the word slander is contrasted with libel, which is the act of making a false written statement

You quote this and then use the wrong word?

It is the same technology originated by Evolv and copied by everyone else offering temperature limiting to date.

Woofer, that quote is taken directly from Websters Dictionary so I'll just leave the quote where it as it stands.

Evolv was the first to release TL and that's all anyone on these forums can say unless they work for either of these companies. And I guess I'm done since not a single person as anything tangible to support any of their accusations that the chip is a copy or "cloned" which is pretty much what I thought was going to be the end result.

zoiD, it has been released and it's receiving very positive reviews.

I don't think anyone was claiming that YiHi was copying the actual dna chip. They were simply stating that YiHi (among others) are copying their technologies and designs. Which of course is absolutely true and frankly, is to be expected.

Right now, Evolv is leading the innovation in APVs ... giving great thought to potential concerns and deeming regulations that may pop up in the future. That is a good thing and is NEEDED in this industry.

Other companies like YiHi are taking those ideas and integrating them into their own tech. This leads to potential improvements to thus said technologies as well as provides competition and more consumer choices. That is also a good thing.

No point in starting an Evolv vs YiHi war when both companies are providing a better environment for US, the consumers. We can all buy and use what we dang well please. Who cares what the next person is rocking .... it's their business.

I believe it was John that said at 38:10 "I have to admit the SX 350 is a well done product and to say its not would be dumb".

I think that pretty much tells you where they stand and they didn't say they were ripped off.

Agreed!

If you honestly believe yihi would have released a board with temp limiting based on reading resistance changes in nickel wire in march 2015 had evolv not released the dna40 back in Oct 2014 you're lying to yourself.

Why, because you have nothing, it is purely a slander

libel
[lahy-buh l]
noun
defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures.
the act or crime of publishing it.
a formal written declaration or statement, as one containing the allegations of a plaintiff or the grounds of a charge.

The word you are looking for is libel, not slander.
You quoted the definition and still used the word incorrectly.

Do you understand how the DNA 40 works? If you understand that and you are aware of the physics of what is happening to the wire it is very easy to say with a very high degree of confidence that yihi is doing exactly what Evolv developed and patented. There really is not much else they can do.

I also challenge you to find any criticism from me ever of yihi's kanthal products. Do not attempt to dismiss my comments as that of blind fanboy.

Hey Dan, I'm not say that at all. I don't know what they were working on at any point in time but neither does anybody else. Their chip may have been delayed because they experienced some of the same challenges as Evolv and waited until they had them resolved. Nobody knows what the hell was going on behind closed doors.

And I try to be a lair at any time, it's just gets to hard to remember all the BS and the truth is so much easier.

All I know is that there is room for both the SX and DNA chips and that they are both good for vapors. Yihi has a proven track record of making a decent chip and interested members should be shown the same respect as the DNA group and be allowed to discuss it with others tearing it down.

Both Evolv and Yihi are attempting to make it a better environment for all vapors and competition create innovation. After all everything sold today is simply an improvement of the original.

Absolutely. Yihi basically follows what Evolv is doing, which is a proven successful move, if shady.

Remember Yihi was the one that threw up that fake TP board the day the DNA40 was released, buying time for themselves to replicate what Evolv was doing.
