Can chain vaping affect how hard it is to drag? And how long should you keep dragging?

I just got in the mail today a new Vision clearomizer and some lovely pumpkin juice from my semi-local shop Vaperite (props to great service!).

I was super siked since I was vaping off a Vision clearo I got back on Sept 16th in FL while I was vacationing, and tried to make it last til now..

Needless to say I was vaping away. I have an Ego-T upgrade battery, so I've been switching between the 3.2v and the 4.2.

Well, I've come to notice as the day has progressed, it seems harder to get a good drag. The vapor and throat hit are there, but I have to vape longer and harder to get a good "hit" (not buzz, mind you).

There's nothin wrong with the clearo and I started out when it arrived today doing 3-4 second drags. As of now, it's taking 7-8 seconds to get that same goodness.

Any thoughts?

Hi jcp.

Well, let's see....

You've ruled out the battery culprit. OK.
Next is either juice or probably juice. lol. Some juices "gunk" up stuff faster than others. I'd suspect the new juice. Also, chain-vaping as you say can cause it to heat up a bit...particularly if you don't give it enough time to wick between puffs. So that also promotes "cooking the coil/juice" and thus adds to gunk.

Gunk leads to hard draw.

Try cleaning the clearo, including air holes.

Also, the 2nd part of "juice' is the viscosity. Wicking. If it's thick juice, thin it to help it wick. A drop or two/three of PG, PGA or water per 10 or so ml. It varies. Usually high VG juices are thicker.

How would you recommend cleaning the "gunk"? Unlike my old Vision clearo, this one is the solid black with black drip tip and is not rebuildable (meaning the parts I'm able to reach and take apart to clean are LIMITED)

Also, when I said "vaping like crazy" I was being somewhat sarcastic. I don't think I was doin it enough to build up gunk already on a new clearo.

Just wondering what I could do to possibly solve it. The draws seem to be better, now that I'm inhaling slowly on the drip tip.

To clean the non rebuildable Stardust remove the drip tip- be sure to not lose the O-Ring on it. Next get a pair of needle nosed pliers or tweezers and "grab" the metal tube/ silicon cap that's just inside the drip tip and gently pull it out. DO NOT lose the metal plate/ tube inside the silicon cap. Place parts in bowl with hot water and let sit awhile. Next dry burn the coil without the silicon cap installed. Next use a hairdryer set on low/ cool to dry the innards out. Place silicon cap with metal tube/ plate back on to base + drip tip and vape.
