"Pay homage to the Ohm-age"

I got the funniest thing happen to me tonight. I got the balls to try it and to my amusement - it worked. Granted it took me out of my "safe" zone as far as the my personal preference is concerned. But it is rather amusing.

Now GRANTED - it IS somewhat ugly. But I expected it to be, since I'm using direct contact on a 500 stainless steel mesh. So it bent a little, who cares? I would like the coils to be a bit tighter, maybe a few more wraps to bring them closer together and closer to the posts? Oh well... it works. 1.3 Ohms is fine for me. No hot spots and no hot mesh from when I tested it empty. Seems to be wicking and cooking just fine. I BASK IN ITS BEAUTIFUL GLOW!

Machine wrap with a pair of needle nose and the allen wrench supplied with the ZAP. Then hand wrapped over a 1/64 drill bit, squeezed onto oxidized mesh, oxidized again with coil and mesh together. Tested @ 3.5V, 3.8V, 4.0V, 4.2V, 4.3V and 4.5V. Out of all the voltage tested at 3.5 gives a cool, mushy, light TH. At 4.5V the TH is rough, the vape is hot, and not really flavorful. Backed down to 4.0 - 4.3 and the vapor matches the flavor and the TH is really noticeable.

I did wrap it until the loop broke, so I'm guessing it was tight enough! LOL.
