There are no standards on how eliquids are made, and many people are making and selling it right out of their kitchen, and I am sure that some of them do not have a clue. I think there needs to be much research as to how to make the safest eliquid, and standards put into effect before a company is allowed to make and sell it.
There should also be standards on delivery devices as to what materials are used to make the various components of such devices.
I even think there should be some sort of guidelines on the different vaping levels. Not regulations, but more of a guideline. For example... the safest wattage range to vape at is: xxx...
I think alot more studies and research need to be done for this to happen, and I would rather pay a little extra for gear and liquids that I know are going to be the safest. And especially liquids (because that is what we are inhaling). I only buy liquids from the AVE, Halo, Johnson Creek types of companies, and never buy from B&M, or any web stores that do not list how they make it or what is in it.
I know alot of people hate the FDA, but I hope they do what it takes to make e-cigs as safe as they can be.
JMHO...
