Can i replace LG 18650 batt with a normal AA batt?

What mod is it? Some mods should have a good enough charging board to only draw 1A on a 2.1A charger and not get fried. If you fried your board, tough luck man that's what you get for not reading on battery safety.

Don't scare him bro lol, not related to battery safety though. But as we all know sometimes china stuff are quite dubious, anyways was just listing the possible thing that could happen.

ok here comes the electrical engineer, a typical samsung note adapter would be outputting 2A whereas a typical on board charger accepts 1A. Chances are you fried the charging board and or the battery itself.

There's no way of me telling how good the quality of the charging board is at this point of time so the above are the possible reasons. Just use a PC usb to charge, should be safe every single time.

edit: that is also why its advisable to charge the 18650s externally.
Should have use the usb cable provided instead of just using my samsung note charger..

Or..... The only reason why there is sucha lack of knowledge is because the government made it illegal, thus causing a severe lack of information particularly for newbies.
