Can i replace LG 18650 batt with a normal AA batt?

    It's not really a safety issue (original question). If you try sticking in a single standard AA battery it simply won't work. If you managed to get contact the battery might get hot but would still be low danger and high frustration. It would be possible to construct a safe and effective setup using the cells, rechargeable versions preferably, but this would be large, heavy and expensive.

    But yeah, you shouldn't use AA's in place of 18650. Its a definite nono
