I've been thinking about getting a fish aquarium! Sounds boring, but it's a ton of work to get one up and running!!

I don't have the time to take care of any furry friends, unfortunately. And after losing both my doggeh and my parent's cat (I grew up with him) in the last 6 or so months, I can't bring myself to adopt any more pets.

We have 4 fish that are absolutely unkillable......zebra danios...Id highly recommend them to anyone starting out with a fish tank.

When I was pet store guy when I was younger, that is all I sold people to start their tanks with. Zebra or Pearl danios.

As for not having time, a Corn Snake is literally the easiest part to take care of. They can in more colors than a provari too! lol

Do snakes and lizards need exercise? Dum question? Seems like they'd get lazy and fat in a tank or cage. Do they allow you to handle them.

I remember when my kids had guinea pigs and rabbits. The guinea pigs were cool sitting on your lap and petting them, but then they would pee on you at some point. Yuch.

Not a simple answer but I will try to sum it up

As long as they have an appropriate sized cage and you feed them properly (food type and amount); they don't need to be walked or whatever.

Also, I don't think I have ever been pooped on by a lizard or a snake, at least not a captive bred animal that is healthy or the type I would recommend for non-expert's.

As long as you keep the snakes in your house were all good. Not scared of spiders or other insects, any type of animal and even most people but snakes are another story altogether............shudders......
