So i've been dying to get a provari for the longest time to play nice with my kfl, r91 and taifun, but money's tight for a college kid. Been lusting after a provari for a good price on the classifieds, but these stubby fingers always seem to slow to snag one. Popped by today and HO HO. snagged a barely used provari 2.5 + 18650 extension cap + 1x 18650 AW IMR battery + a few remaining months of warranty for...

$120 :D :D :D

it's on its way to me, and I've been sporting the biggest grin on my face all day long.

p.s. I know this isn't much of a thread, but hell if you guys could remember laying your hands on your first provari ever... I cannot be more pleased with myself right now. Now praying to god that the unit is actually in as good a condition as described by the seller and in the pictures.

That's a great price for a really good device. I hope you're as happy with it as I am with mine.

do you have a charger? you'll need one,,,

I just ordered my first provari yesterday, so I totally get your excitement!

In an act of extreme bravery, I went ahead and bought a nitecore i4 and 4 18650 AW IMR batteries even before I secured the provari. I figured if the sales fell through, I would have an extra "incentive" to just go ahead and buy a brand new one.

Looks like the Provarian gods were smiling at me.

In any case, would appreciate if someone could help me out with this. I've read that a AW IMR battery should be able to last close to a year which solid for me. Just wondering if the Efest 18650 are comparable in terms of durability and performances. I do believe in the whole "you get what you paid for", but I've actually seen some pretty good reviews and they're almost half the price.
