p.s. I know this isn't much of a thread, but hell if you guys could remember laying your hands on your first provari ever... I cannot be more pleased with myself right now. Now praying to god that the unit is actually in as good a condition as described by the seller and in the pictures.

Currently planning my different coils and eliquid for my first few vapes.

I got the standard silver satin with blue LED! Just plopped by provape to check, and all that wouldve cost me $208 before taxes and shipping. Thinking of that just makes me even happier >: )

In an act of extreme bravery, I went ahead and bought a nitecore i4 and 4 18650 AW IMR batteries even before I secured the provari. I figured if the sales fell through, I would have an extra "incentive" to just go ahead and buy a brand new one.

Looks like the Provarian gods were smiling at me.

In any case, would appreciate if someone could help me out with this. I've read that a AW IMR battery should be able to last close to a year which solid for me. Just wondering if the Efest 18650 are comparable in terms of durability and performances. I do believe in the whole "you get what you paid for", but I've actually seen some pretty good reviews and they're almost half the price.

The button top Efests are ok but the AW are better I have both and the AW outperform the Efest.

The AW IMR's have 500 charging cycles, so depending on how heavy you vape they should last you close to 2 years with 5 of them on one ProVari your set for quite a while.

I hear you I ordered batteries and a charger before I got my Provari too! I KNEW I was getting a Provari just as soon as Christmas was out of the way! (then we had a death in the family which set us back $$ wise for travel expenses, but I got here eventually!!)

Don't know about lifespan, but I do find the AW charge last longer than an eFest...
Never can seem to track it precisely, but I'm pretty convinced to pay the extra couple bucks for AW next time...
