How come you didn't get verified for so long?

Don't know, maybe not knowing what I was missing is a good thing? I have never been a person who has bought used things, aside from pre-owned vehicles and a house, and that was a financial necessity, not preference. I much didn't care what might be for sale in the classifieds as I have always bought new with a warranty. Probably relates to the way I was brought up by my parents.

Never been one to be a bargain hunter, or one who enjoyed a flea market, yard or garage sale. I guess my cynical perspective was why buy someone else's junk? Like when I go shopping, I know pretty much what I am going to buy when I enter the store, get it, and get out.

I'm not much for buying used either, the one thing I did get from the classys was a YJ lavatube, the threads on the 510 connector were striped, I just got it for a backup but couldn't even use it for that.

I just sold a provari mini at below market rates. Below market rates are no biggie for me. Since I can choose who to sell to if my first offer is from a jerk.

I see to have ordered two brand new Hybrids in the last two days, so I figured the one provari would be enough.

I shop much like you do, but the classified are good for finding things you can't get anymore, like chrome Provari's and other hard to get stuff. It is not always used. And I also like to look at the pictures of things I have not seen before. I actually have only bought 1 thing so far, but it's there if I want to use it.

I stopped by Radio Shack to pick up a fiberglass pen.. That was an adventure. The manager dude was certain they didn't have any and we looked and didn't find it. The website said they had it in stock so I continued to look while he called another local shop. I located it and yelled it out. He hung up on the store he had just called. It was fun. He was cute. We were flirty. He signed me up for a $10 off your next purchase that was delivered to my email. Asked when I'd be back..

I went back later that night (I know... ) to pick up something else that I (thought I) needed. Found out his name while I was there.

Went back later (week or two?) to pick up a cheap 500gig external HD that was on sale ($40 after my coupon, woot!). I was going to "make my move" ... but he wasn't there..

Now I need to figure out what the heck to buy from Radio Shack so I can try again.

But rejection stories always discourage me. lol
