Ok everyone cut it out :( Now i'm starting to get down thinking about "Chad"....Black Lab...terribly missed. He was my single guy dog so lots of training time and the best bud. Rode on a jet ski with me and was known throughout the neighborhood. Lost him at 14 years. He got to the point where he could barely walk and it was just time.
Landon, my oldest, was like two and we all went to the vet with the intent to get a checkup but I knew. Anyway, while waiting Landon was saying hi to all the dogs/owners in the lobby and there was one that was a bit to feisty. Chad struggled to his feet, made his way over and got between them. Ever the protector, his last act of gallantry.........it was a perfect last stand.

I lost both of these guys last year, both were rescues.

Both had lost an eye before I adopted them. Bucky (closest to the camera) was shot with a shotgun and Tinks lost one due to infection. Both were with me for over 12 years but the issues they had from their ordeals early in life cost them a few years later on. I think they had a good life with me tho.

Hey Fury, where in CT are you? I grew up there, in Noank and went to UCONN.

I grew up in Windsor Locks, currently in Bristol (way towards the Southington end).

Well I went to CCSU, made Dean's List the first semester and dropped it. I had a girl at UCONN for a bit, nice place to party for sure.

Yeah... people don't believe the stories I tell about UCONN parties. This was 1987-1992. My first week as a freshman, I had to go buy steel-toed boots to walk in the dorm hallways. By Monday morning they were covered in broken glass, vomit, food, cigarette butts and .... water.

Lol...I'd apologize for the mess but I was 4-9 years old during those years.

FINALLY ordered the 18650 extension cap. I recently fell back in love with my ProVari (I'd been cheating on it with half a dozen other APVs) and decided the battery life needed an upgrade.

If I hadn't just ordered an epipe (from epipemods), I might have got a second ProVari altogether .... But I have yet to fall into that trap. :p

Somehow, I just can't picture you with an epipe... you'll have to post picture... with a "serious look" lol
