Can others smell your vapor flavor?

This is my first post and I have one question before I order my first e-cig. Can others smell the flavor of of your vapor? I go outside to smoke and look forward to vaporing indoors but if the tobacco flavor smells like tobacco when upon exhaling, my wife is going to kick me right back out inside.

I suppose the same question would apply to other flavors. Our company may not appreciate the room smelling like sour apples or coffee all evening.

Thanks for your help on this and all your prior postings. I have learned much from reading your posts and obviously have much more to learn.

In my opinion some do and some don't but haven't found anything that smells like a reg cig....... so I wouldn't worry about that. But yeah some of those flavors may have a slight linger especially if the door is closed.

I smoke menthol and there is a light aroma to it. I had some prefilled tobacco carts and my son asked me to blow it in his face so he could smell it. He said it smelled nice, very subtle and a little like a nice pipe tobacco. Good thing I hadn't been eating onions LOL!

I've found some people can smell the vapor, but it's very slight. Others can't smell anything, but it is also flavor dependant,
most flavors don't seem to be perceptable by most people.

Most of mine have little (if any) lingering smell however there have been a handful. The most notorious has been COV waffle. My kids won't stay away from my office (they LOVE the smell) - my wife won't come IN my office (she's dieting) LOL!

It's a fantastic aroma in the morning with a fresh coffee.

My hubby and son state they do not like the odor. However, I decided to buy them a air purifer. It worked.

They described it as an potpurri type odor. They are sensitive to odors as well. I would think for most people it would not be offensive.

No flavor smells like burning tobacco and I've yet to have anyone tell me the odor is offensive. Most juices have no odor at all, some do. Fruity flavors usually smell...fruity, confectionery flavors sometimes have a sweet odor and so on. I think I've read about a couple of juices where the smell was not too great, but by and large it's nothing like cigarettes and it doesn't stink up your clothes, car and household fabrics and such.

Vape on! You'll be safe inside. Any smell that I'm told of while I'm vaping in my living room is quickly dissipated and it leaves no lingering foul smells unlike analogs.

One of my closest friends is a non-analog smoker/non-vaper. I've known her for years and I can tell you that she's very sensitive to odors, dust, etc, etc. Almost a Felix from the Odd Couple movie. I would refrain from smoking analogs when we spent time together because she couldn't stand the smoke and smell.
We purposely did the "see if it bothers you thing", and she said she could still smell a slight sweet odor,
like candied apples(I was vaping a peach/menthol mix). She thought it was pleasant.
That means a lot coming from her.

Yep, my husband can smell "something" pleasant. BUT, I wonder if it's the vapor he's smelling or the paper towel/napkin/tissue with juice on it that's laying next to me. The one I've just wiped off the excess liquid off with. I suspect it's the liquid on the paper.

Yesterday I was picking up my husband's medications at the pharmacy. I had been vaping caramel popcorn in the car on the way there. The pharmacy tech wanted to know what "scent" I was wearing, she said that I smelled like gingerbread.

Some juices I have had have a definite smell to the vapor, but NONE have been unpleasant or offensive. I have gotten to where I can normally guess what flavor my wife is vaping if I am sitting next to her. But if I am across the room........nothing. A few people have asked about perfumes/air fresheners being used.

Someone told me once that my car smelled like blueberry muffins. I *had* been vaping blueberry waffle juice in it right before that. But it was a good smell. Yum.

People have told me that it smells good. Especially if I vape the sweet flavors.

The only time I hear comments from others smelling my vape is when I'm vaping something with maple syrup in it (french toast, waffle, toffee waffle) or blueberry (bluberry pancakes). I have noticed that after I've vaped Wyatt Earp, it smells like someone near me has been smoking an analog, but it doesn't last long. It took me a while to figure out the smell was coming from my GLV-2 and not the car in front of me in traffic!

Yes - the smell isn't as strong or offensive as smoke and probably smells more like fresh tobacco than burning tobacco, and some juices smell a lot more than others, but my fiance can smell them for sure and some people told me my office smelled of vape. My niece thought I smelled like green tea one time (I forget what i vaped that day but it wasn't green tea).

if I know I'll be vaping somewhere I don't want others to smell tobacco at all, then I'll use a cherry tobacco or put some peach or chocolate in my tobacco vape etc. Lately I've started vaping mostly a nice vanilla (BWB's) that doesn't scream ice cream or whipped cream - it's more subdued, and I think that is leaving a less pronounced odor.

My whole family can smell every flavor I've used and so can I but all of them like it except my husband. He has the gall to claim that it stinks while he still smokes analogs. Go figure.

Everyone loves my vapor smell unless I'm vaping purecig. Everyone hates the smell of purecig. One person told me it smelled like ..... I have no idea what that smells like but I imagine it isn't good.
