My buddy likes to remind me that mine smells like pretzels :vapor:
One of my employees has a fixation with bacon. I'd say it's unhealthy, but that would be unAmerican of me.

He can identify the flavors in my exhalations with amazing accuracy. He's also said he'll hug me if I start vaping bacon-flavored juice.

He's like a big, adorable Labrador.

I agree with all the above posts, that the vapes usually smell very pleasant depending on the flavor. I think once the vapors dissipate so does any of the smells from the vapors. I live with two non-smokers with sensitive noses and haven't had any complaints (and believe me, they don't hold back when they do). I don't vape around them because they are both ex-smokers and although vaping isn't smoking it's close enough (looks/similar actions, etc.) that I don't want them to be tempted to restart anything and they don't seem to notice at all. I'm fairly sure once the vapors are gone so is the smells from them. But like everyone is saying, the smells/odors are much more pleasant by a long shot.

Thanks for this topic and discussion! I assumed there was no odor - I'll take that into consideration when I "sneak vape" at work!
If they don't see what I'm doing, most people wouldn't know. Tobacco has a very cloying and distinct odor. You'll smell that on me.

However, if I come around the corner smelling vaguely of custard, no one's any wiser.

As everyone seems to be saying the smells from vapors are usually fairly pleasant. I do think that once the vapors completely dissipate so does the smells from them. I live with two non-smokers and they haven't seemed to notice anything. I don't vape around them because they are both ex-smokers and although vaping is not smoking, I think is close enough (looks/actions) that I don't want to tempt them into restarting their smoking and they both hate the smell of smoke now that they have quit. Usually by the time they are in the same room all the vapors have gone and they don't seem to notice or smell anything. I'm 100% sure they would say something if they did. Also, when I was smoking I may not have noticed the smell from cigs/cigars while I was smoking, but when I'd go out for a while and return I could smell the cigs/cigars. I don't notice any smell now if I go and return even if it's just for a short time.

My wife is less bothered by the smell of my vapor (she can smell it if I'm vaping in her vicinity) than by the effect of the…IDK, PG? Nicotine? Something. Her eyes start drying out and reddening almost immediately in the presence of vapor. Kind of a bummer. I had a few great evenings sitting next to her on the couch vaping while watching a movie, until she realized that it was my vapor that was causing her symptoms. That was the end of that… :-(
