Some of us are a little slower than others? Im obviously one of the slow ones. Is this something to be worried about:
E-cig Regulation | Modern Vapor Electronic Cigarettes: Blog

Yes, it is. The FDA tried to ban vaping completely in 2009 and were confiscating vaping supplies of both suppliers and consumers. Many people lost a lot of money. They were stopped by the courts at two levels back then. Now they are going to try and do it another way by deeming restrictions which if fully implemented would kill vaping as we know it today.

Everyone who vapes needs to educate themselves on this issue. But more importantly, if you want to vape then join and financially support CASAA. They are the only group defending our right to vape. Click on the signature at the bottom of my post.

The author of that blog is talking about the FDA regulating e-cigarettes under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act ("Tobacco Control Act") by 1) first issuing a regulation that deems e-cigarettes to be regulated under the act and then 2) after e-cigarettes are officially covered, issues rules and regulations about the manufacture and sale of the products.

This has been hashed out quite thoroughly in the sticky thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-products-eliminate-many-most-companies.html

FDA's announcement about regulating e-cigarettes: Regulation of E-Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products

What has changed, however, is that Dr. Lawrence Deyton, who signed the letter to stakeholders, is no longer directing the Center for Tobacco Products. That role has been assumed by Mitch Zeller. Nobody is completely sure what his stance will be, but at first glance he appears to be more open to the concept of Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR) than Deyton was.

BTW: Concerning that blog, I'm not crazy about his or her terminology, "vapor smoking." Vapor is not smoke. The term for the practice of inhaling and exhaling vapor is "vaping." I also cringe when I read, "E-cigarette smoking" or "Smoking an e-cigarette." I switched to an e-cig to get away from smoke.
