I was abucted by a UFO in 1978. A male and female probed me, which wasn't too bad. I mean, at least I felt some cared. And then after being probed I was shown a movie about the future. It was right on. The male and female robots looked different only on the head, by the circles of a gold colored "wrapping" like thing. They have not returned, leaving me a bitter, loney old fool waiting to be probed again, just one more time.....

Reminds me of a PS3 game I have called Destroy All Humans. You play an Alien who has as part of his arsenal an .... Probe Gun. It's quite funny watching the humans run around holding their butts until they eventually explode! Glad that didn't happen to you though.

Never thought I would every play a game like that! It's not for the faint hearted. Strange thing is the Alien sounds just like Jack Nicholson which is quite disturbing.

I've been waiting for the multi charger for over a year now. Finally made my own. Bought a 12 port USB hub with the highest amperage output I could find and filled the ports with USB chargers. It's not a pretty solution, but it works and less expensive than having a dozen discrete wall chargers.

I believe it was spring of last year when a similar thread popped up and we heard that we would be blown away with the cool stuff on the way. I think we can start viewing this as an annual ritual.

What has improved:

1) WOW Carts are an improvement - Better consistency from cart to cart. Better flavor.
2) Airflow on batteries - Much appreciated improvements to the airflow on batteries. It started on the regulars and found it's way to the XLs.
3) Passthroughs - the original passthroughs didn't last very long, the new passthroughs have far better construction and seem to last 2 to 3 times as long as the originals

What hasn't improved

1) Battery durability - switches, battery life and capacity haven't improved since the first battery I purchased over a year ago. Lots of black button batteries out of rotation.
2) Mods - We've been talking about a V4L mod for over a year. It's the unicorn of the V4L loyal
3) High capacity carts - I really wanted to love the Coolcarts, but I have a much higher failure rate on the coolcarts than the WOW carts and they're less consistent than the WOW carts. And no prefilled.
4) Better charging options - No multi charger, or any real positive or innovated improvements
5) Cases - If you're an XL user like myself, you probably have a few of poorly designed XL cases lying around that you never use because the batteries just fall out

Hopefully, this didn't come across as excessively negative. I'm a fan of V4L and I support them and order from them at least a couple of times a month but the pace of improvement seems very lacking. I've come to appreciate that this is a consumable ecosystem. Price and convenience trumps reuse and innovation. It's not a dig, it's reality.

What would be the difference between a mod and a fat bat. I know that v4l is working on a mod (not really sure what that is). But am surprised they don't have a fat bat like an elegant or pig cig in the works. It would seem like a good mix for better battery life.

A fat batt is a battery and a mod is an ecig with removable rechargeable batts.
