Can you tell me about the glass tanks?

Can you walk me through from out of the box to first use? Is it just "pop on to a punched carto" & that's it? No tinkering needed? What would be an example of a "medium size carto" for the medium size tank? Anyone try these or use them? What do you think?

I have the glass tanks that Notcigs has on their site and I love 'em.

For the medium sized tanks, I use the Resurrector cartos from CCV, they're about 1/2 longer than the standard cartos.

Using the tanks requires you to not only punch the carto but you will need a cut cart condom on the top (mouthpiece) end of the carto. It creates a seal and protects the glass from the metal of the carto.

Remove the little doughnut thingy from the end, take one of the cart condoms and cut a hole in the top of it. I pinch the cart condom so the top pops up and just snip it off with scissors.

Just like any other tank, the tank has a bottom cap, the carto has to be pushed through it. Do that before placing the carto condom on it, and then put the tank on the the bottom cap.

Fill the tank after assembly, just slide the carto down a tad until there's a gap between the tank wall and carto and fill. I use a syringe to fill my tanks as it's easier for me to it that way.

They are awesome tanks, solid and I like that the drip tip is part of the tank itself, they're really cool looking too.

Thanks alot. I would've never thought of doing such a thing. If I follow, you put the carto in through the bottom of the tank and then you put the cut condom on the top of the carto. From the looks of it, its hard to imagine enough room through the top to do that, which is why I'm double checking.

I really do like the looks of them and I'd like to try one out.

Yep condom with a hole in it on top of the Carto AFTER you put it thru the bottom cap.
