cant get em to stand up straight

newest 510 with adjustable pin - cant get my cyclone to sit flat, always a lil crooked no matter where i put the adjustment. This is a new Reo, anyone got any ideas?

edit: got it to stand straight if i take out the adjustable hex screw. is it okay to run it like this?

I'd say if it fires, rock on! The grub screw is for alignment so the exterior threading is still carrying current. Don't crank down so hard you roll the metal/damage the threading (not sure it would happen to the SS anyway but...)

You can tighten it down no worries that 510 is a beast there are 4000 of them in the wild no one has broke one hoople proof

rob do i risk anything running it without the grub screw? do you have replacements on the site, maybe this one is just lopsided a lil

He's got more then a bucket full of those screws. Take the screw out if ya want and check it out. There short and I hear there fun to reinstall.

Stand the screw on a flat surface and check it for flatness. I bet one could file the end of its not.

I don't have them on the site if you need another grub screw I can send you one . As long as your atomizers center post is protruding enough so the negative part of the atty doesn't make contact with the 510s center post your good to go .

seems to be working fine, ran it all last night without one. Ill put a note on my next order for one, i think im fine for the time being. Thanks!
