Hi Ashlee, what sort of hardware are you using? I started with the pen style 510 but had to upgrade to the Ego Twist fairly quickly because the pen style wasn't giving me what I needed. I find the extra voltage from a 650 and a 2.2-2.4 ohm clearomizer helps enormously. Also save your money and buy some samplers from good quality vendors .. because more ml for your buck isn't necessarily better ml and can get a lot more expensive a lot more quickly as you tip it down the sink. :)

I have ordered a few variety packs, went to the local brick and mortar and tried a bunch of flavors, but I can't seem to settle on one.

Ashley, I went thru this big time! Everything I thought I would like, I didn't.

What worked? "Drinks". I got some Red Spot from Mountain Oaks Vapor, it tastes like a real rasberry limeade drink! Not something I thought I would vape. I also tried other drink kinda stuff, and added a drop or two of menthol, even though I NEVER smoked menthol cigarettes.

so, I was all wrong about what i would like.

You CAN mix that peppermint with something else. Try it with a coffee flavor, or a fruit flavor, or something that goes with mint. I often have to mix together a few juices. :)

Find 3 vendors you like and then try to *learn* what the different categories are, and what you prefer---I have my own categories, even though they may not be correct for anyone else:
Tobacco-like
Kinda tobacco like
Fruit
Fruit with something extra (key lime pies, strawberry slush coolers, etc.)
Drinks (could be anything from pina coladas to limeades/lemonaides, sodas, etc.)
Bakery
Coffee/Tea
Mints/Menthol

Try to narrow it down, then find 3-4 vendors that aren't too expensive and go from there.

I hate sweet bakery juices, but Vape Dudes NO BAKE CAKE and Mountin Oaks LEGENDARY/HEAVENLY 7 suprised me. The Vapor Room's Cinnamon Swirl. Those are a few I could vape. Mrs. T's was so sweet it set my teeth on edge, just can't take it

Finding an all day vape can be frustrating. I have a giant ziploc bag full of flavors I just didn't care for at all. yuck!

I haven't read through all the replies here yet, so I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but check out NiteLite Vapor - specifically Bounty Hunter and Sundance V2 juices. While they're considered "tobacco" flavored, my palette tastes none. Just pure all day vaping goodness.

NiteLite is having an ecommerce problem at the moment but you can still order big jugs (small bottles coming back soon). Online payment companies are cracking down on e-cig sales (your vendor could be next).

NiteLite has an extensive thread (following) on ECF so check them out. Good luck!

I have been using Smoov batts and cartos, but I just ordered a twist and some stardusts which should be here monday. I'm impatiently stalking my mailman....I am still trying flavors, but just ordered a bunch of desert type flavors from vapedudes, and some of these juices are getting better as they steep. The blue mist stuff still sucks:( I think I am in the "can't taste anything" phase right now because, well, I can't taste anything lol. I know it will get better, and I am determined to keep vaping and stay off the cigs. I like the idea of switching up flavors throughout the day, which I have been doing. I am rolling with fresh strawberries from Juicy Vapors right now because it is about the only thing with a throat hit and a little flavor at the moment. I am exited for my twist to get here though, I have heard lots of good things about them. I am debating on getting a mini vivi nova to go with it, but it will have to wait a week or two. Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I have a pretty big list going of things to try!

Ashlee - excellent re: the Twist. You'll love it and the flavors will be better too. Try Ahlusion - they're getting huge marks for their teas and fruit flavors - and their tobaccos of course. Again, do go with sample sizes. Rawr, Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Alien Visions. You'll definitely find what you're looking for. Let us know how you get on, we're all routing for you!

Definitely find a DIY supplier
Tastes can vary due to many things=
If you just switched to e-cigs then it will take some time to get your tastebuds back.
Some systems are just too weak.
Low resistance can burn flavor off.
You will probably taste more on the exhale.
Double up the flavor shots in a DIY or steep your liquid.

My all day vape at the moment is The Brunette from VapeDudes. I also like to switch it up randomly throughout the day. Like right now I'm vaping Dude Cider. I vape both at 16mg, 50/50 mix.

I almost put some Dude Cider in my cart with my order, then I ended up going with something else for variety. Is it pretty good?

I really like it! I edited my last post to include that I got both with extra flavor.

This is the review I submitted to them:
"As soon as I smelt this liquid, I knew it had to be the first of the 5 that I tried. It smells of freshly sliced apples with a hint of cinnamon. The vape of this liquid is amazing. It tastes of a beautiful home made apple cider, with all the right spices in it. It reminds me of my local apple orchard's cider, after I heat it up and add cinnamon to it (and they make an AMAZING cider). This is a lovely fall time vape, and hopefully it'll be around for a very long time!"

That sounds pretty good! I might have to throw one of those in with my next order:) Thanks!

If you recently stopped smoking, your taste buds are shot from years of inhaling hot burning toboacco smoke. They will heal and your taste will improve over the next few weeks. In the meantime, try getting ahold of strong flavored juices.

If you like menthol, get some Ice Menthol. That is a basic menthol flavor, and many vendors sell it. Menthol is a good flavor to use between switching from one to another.

Highbrow Vapors Orange de Sangre is a strong, sweet orange flavor that is pretty close to the fruit, not candy-like.

Cinnamon is a strong flavor. Just be mindful not to put it in a tank device made of polycarbonate (like a clearomizer or carto tank) as some of the cinnamon flavors have melted or cracked the plastic.

Have you tried a coffee flavor yet? Virgin Vapors Organic Kona Velvet Milkshake is a complex, strong flavor of coffee, mocha, some caramel, a touch of rum, and the creaminess of a milkshake.

Don't worry about not finding a single all day vape. That's actually pretty boring if you ask me. Better to have 3-4 flavors to switch in and out as the day goes on.

As has been said I add menthol to almost anything I vape. I have about 5 bottles of Juice I bought 15 ml for 25 bux at a mall kiosk (Yeah I know I got ripped off) LOL Kinda bought 3 get one free and rewards points for 5th bottle... But they are pretty crappy now that I have been trying other flavors from vendors like Vapedudes and others. But I am able to vape those flavors I bought at the kiosk with menthol added. I however was always a menthol smoker. I also do like some others has suggested and mix flavors together... I had some Belgian Coca from Halo and mixed that with some Banana from eliquid planet and a couple drops of mint it was great together for me at least.
And while at a friends house who just won a big assortment of juice from a contest I was able to try a bunch of different flavors and now waiting for my Vapedudes Blue Honey to be delivered monday or tuesday. But I was able to try things I don't think I would have purchased that way because what I thought I would like I didnt and what I thought I wouldn't I did. So its just a trial and error type of thing. Just keep trying sample packs and eventually you will find it.
And as a couple others have mentioned it may just be a mental thing with needing to find that one certain flavor maybe if you can try to change your mind set a bit as there are so many different combinations and taste being subjective that it will allow you to find what you are really looking for.

Edited to add:
Also right now I only have 2 tanks and keep those filled with different liquids so if I find the need to change up for a bit its as simple as just unscrewing tank from mod and putting on the other tank. I have a few more tanks coming now as well as a few attys for those times I feel like dripping or sampling new flavors.
