You also might want to look into WTA's or Whole Tobacco Alkaloids. Just do a google search and you should find some vendors who sell them.

I smoked 2 packs a day for 25 years before quitting and the key for me was plenty of little vapes during the day instead of a quick 5-10 minutes here and there. The nicotine needs more time to hit your system with vapor versus a traditional cigarette which is almost instantaneous.

If your body is telling you that it's not getting enough nicotine, you might use the liquids with higher nic content (6 seems pretty low). Is there a particular reason that you've been mixing three different strengths?

Of course, it's also possible that it's just psychological. I struggled for a couple of weeks with my brain telling me that I really wanted to smoke a cigarette--even though I wasn't having any type of physical craving for it. I just wanted one because it is something that's been part of my life for so long! I gave into this for about a week, but I forced myself to change my habits--specifically, I made the decision that I would no longer smoke in my home. I found that when I smoked an analog after I started vaping, I found them to be kind of gross--they tasted awful to me! After a few days, I just stopped completely, and I stopped giving into my head telling me that I wanted them.

Everyone has suggested parts of what did it for me. I've been vaping since January, and I'm only just now to the point where I go days without smoking and don't even think about it. WTA was a HUGE help for me! I also recommend switching to an additive free cigarette, like American Spirits so you can kick your addiction to all those extra added chemicals, that helps a lot. Also getting a good mod helps, and keep it in your pocket at work so you can sneak vapes whenever possible, the bathroom, storage room while you're grabbing stuff, etc...
It's a process, not an instant switch for a lot of us. Just consider every time you vape instead of smoke an accomplishment, you'll get there if you don't give up.

Hey, fellow Ottawan.

Another thing you might try is modifying your delivery technique. In the morning with coffee I wasn't getting the nic-bomb I used to get by smoking two analogs one after the other, and then I started taking a long (like, seven seconds) easy drag into my mouth, inhaling it, and letting it sit in my lungs for longer than I would have with actual smoke. So for your short 'smoke breaks' at work, try taking fewer, but longer drags. Worked for me.

Lots of great suggestion here. Just wanted to add to give yourself some time too. It didn't happen overnight for a lot of us. Your situation is more difficult too because you have limited 'smoke' breaks during the day. Using higher nic levels during the day could help. But if you have a few cigs during the day for a few weeks or months while you figure things out and lower the addiction to cigarettes, that's cool too.

Best of luck with it :thumb:

My 2 cents...Get a new mod, something like a eVic, Vamo, MVP. Get a Nice Kanger Tank and some good juice.

Equipment made a huge difference for me.

22 Days no Analogs....Good luck to you and I applaud your efforts, You will be free from Cigarettes.

+1 a good vv mod should be a must for all. I also agree with getting a good tank. Maybe even try an rda tank. For me the same ohm of rda as a regular carto or tank hit better and satisfies more on an rda. Though there's a big sub ohm craze you done need to go that far. Mine is built at 2 ohms and hits hard and strong. Plus it really brings out the flavor of the juice.

Greetings; I was lucky that my first vaping experiences were satisfying enough to the point where e-cigarettes were able to totally replace tobacco for me right from the start. The taste was great, the vapour was thick enough to 'feel' like tobacco smoke, and of course there was enough nicotine to keep me happy. I don't miss cigarettes at all.

Definitely try out some other products, and you might get a similarly satisfying experience. Clearomizers are inexpensive, and it's worth trying out some of the ones recommended on ECF.

+1 for a VV battery; I just got one, and it really does make a diff in terms of the amount of, and taste of, the vapour being produced.

Good luck.

Regards
Glenn

Vaping and your lifestyle don't seem to fit together well, but there is always hope. One thing you could try is carrying some nicotine gum or lozenges to pop when you're too busy to vape. Vaping is a way of maintaining a level of nicotine in your system to prevent the smoking urge. A higher nicotine level, along with the gum or lozenges may make this easier. You don't need to rely on vaping alone all the time to help quitting.

Also first thing in the AM, vape your head off, constant vaping...(I know I needed it to raise the nic level)...then aim to maintain the level through the day. You will get a feel for when your body is at the right level, and then be able to adjust your nicotine intake to suit yourself...:)

Reason about mixing was that it's what was available at the moment... And I like mixing flavours (part of being in the food industry I guess)

I would have to agree with metroicon. It made a huge difference for me, and now I am analog free!
Unfortunately the only mods that seemed to really work for me were mechanical mods, and a genesis atomizer. I would possibly look into it if I were you.

I went just two days on the eGo, using a tobacco flavor (dont start on fruit or something exotic). After two days, the taste/smell of an analog id just think "gross, definitely dont want to go back down that road.". For others it may not be as easy, but id say just give yourself two days on it completely. If that doesnt kick it, allow yourself 50/50 vaping/smoke. Anythings better than full time analogs!
