I got a clearomizer and it keeps giving dry hits 1/3 of the time and now it leaks I tried all the tricks to make it work none worked always dry hits here and there, Then i got a ego-c and it does not leak or dry hit but I have to suck so hard so I think it sucks. Cartos are great but I would like something better. Is the F16 clearomizer good? It has a carto right? Oh I also got a 510-E but that is getting hard to suck also.

I think have of these vaporizers on the market are crap. Egos are crap to me so far

I myself vape Echos. They are flawless. They are unregulated Kr808d1 so unlike Egos that vape at 510 and 3.5 volts, Echos will, like Kgo or Vgo vape at 4.2 to start and as the battery power goes they end about 3.5 volts. This makes the vape warmer and produces more vapor. The Echo cartomizers (Echomizers) rock. They hold a bit over 3ml juice, never leak, no dry hits, can be refilled many times, even rebuilt easily without buying new parts, and have good taste. Echos are also automatic, so no button to find. People just don't talk about them much because they have never changed, thus all the reviews have been wrote. Ego on the other hand constantly puts out new stuff that sadly does not live up to the hype most of the time. But it does keep those reviews of Ego's constantly on your computer. There are several places to get Echos, Kgos, and Vgos. Any of these will be a better vape.

I had one of the clearomizers with the replaceable heads on it... It was constantly dry firing and I was twirling the heck out of it... Driving me batty... While troubleshooting, I slightly loosened the plastic piece on top of the head, and that fixed it... The plastic piece was pushing down on the wicks too hard and preventing them from "wicking" properly...

I've got a total of 10 vivi nova's in stand 3ml and mini 2ml size. Also have about 9 Stardust in 1.6ml. I use em daily along with my carto/tanks. I've only had a few problems with the stardust and that was because the juice started to eat em. I can't speak for Canada vendprs but I've bought most of mine through "GotVapes.com" Nice selection and colors are available. Also "Madvapes.com" is also a good vendor I recomend. But then I'm in the USA so I can't speak for the Canada vendors. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Don't give up on your ego C, it shouldn't be hard draw at all. Could it be clogged ? Have you tried blowing it out? (Take it off the battery, blow long and hard through the battery-facing end with a paper towel at the other.) If no improvement carefull slide a very thin sewing needle about a quarter inch down the side of the wick to increase air flow. If that doesn't help try switching out the atomizer bit inside the tube.

They also make Echo-e which is manual and has a 510 connection.

Are you using the tanks and atomizers that came with an eGo C kit? If so, that's the problem! I used those awful things for a month before I tried clearomizers, tanks and cartomizers.

I agree with caridwen, I found out when I received my mini nova tank that I wasted time on some clearomizers. Some leaked, some just didn't seem to absorb well, some just didn't give good results. I realized, I don't care for the cartomizer in them. I much prefer the cotton wicks.

+1

I started with the stardust clearos and used them exclusively for about a month. They constantly leaked, couldn't be cleaned without a great deal of effort, and were generally unsatisfactory. I've tried a bunch of different clearos, cartos, and tanks since then and virtually everything I've tried has been better than the stardust. The most recent revision of the rebuildable Vision stardust is ok. The Vision Vivi Novas and Mini Vivi Novas are in every way superior however. The Vivis provide an effortless vape with lots of flavor and vapor production and they flat out don't leak. They're a staple in my admittedly limited arsenal. I suggest you try one. Or six.
