I have to say that these chocolate flavors are outstanding. I just can't vape it very often. I find I like the fruity flavor much more. I haven't tried heavy vg in my mix but you bring up some interesting points. Im actually quite happy with my mix at 60 pg/ 40 vg. I agree the vanilla custard is very strong and I wouldn't use very much if adding it you a mix. I do life the apple pie though and thinking of adding some menthol to it as well.

Ya, I went through horrid chocolate h_ll then finally found the Holy grail of chocolates (imo Cap.) and realized I don't neccessarily like vaping chocolate! lol! Go figure...

Rub it in why don't you  LOL I agree I like only a handful from two companies that I liked and keep but there is a third company that has better strength and they have tobaccos my hub likes so I won't give that one up. Capella's is great on many but not necessarily strong on all the flavors. I like to use as little flavoring as possible.

At least I was able to resort to treats. I really like tobacco house extacted flavored juice and miss that. I don't however like most tobacco essences. I think someone who only wants tobacco with perhaps vanilla caramel or whatever as small backnotes will have to try to have patience of a saint or less sensitive tastebuds /sniffer than me.

STR8 if you tried it higher PG, on any of your recipes it would taste differently and you would tweak your own recipe. I am sure the 50/50's or more are great but I like a thinner juice i can get in a carto before an hour passes....lol Ia also like that I can get a gallon at the tractor store for twenty dollars. I need as affordable as possible with two vapers.

Sorry...I had to lol!

I've found a few flavs besides Cap that I enjoy, and I think there is an overall consistancy with Cap and some variance. If there's a company that has no varience in strength, I've yet to try it ;)

Now tobaccos are another story. I still enjoy ONE cigarette a day, and would love to find a flavor that would replace that, but I've given up. I'm personally not going to spend $$$ chasing a flavor that doesn't exist. For those that find a suitable replacement, you have my admiration :)

I only use cartos .I never vape with a atty .I only use them to test before it goes in my Boges . I have not had any saturation issue with my mixes going up to 70vg/30pg . I usually stay at around 60/40 to 70/30 like all my fav vendors juices are . I fill my cartos with the condom method with 35 drops and it saturates right up with no delay like bobasbounty does . You can also thin high VG mixes with DW if needed . I always found VG to be cheaper than PG anyway . 3.00 at a pharmacy for 4oz is plenty cheap .
I still don't think Capella's is a one size fits all or you will like every single one they carry. But they do have some great flavors. I do intend to try more but I got rid of the ones I did not like right away because thats what I do and I always know within two days if a flavor will be something I will use or not.

Trying to take it back now lol . You know you love them lol

 Not taking it back just saying you guys are steering us well. It can get frustrating to anybody buying flavor after flavor and as Boston said liking only a couple. I will say this you are 100 percent correct that Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Double Chocolate are the best chocolates out there period. How that's? LOL

I do like when people mention NOT liking things too because that helps a person who is planning a purchase. I had the benefit of reading all your ravings and made a list from who from a consensus liked what.

PS:I don't use tanks and don't really want to so the consistency of my juice matters.

Well I do use tanks on occasion and the consistency of my juice matters..in fact more with the tanks than anything! With the carto tanks, if it clogs it's a pib....learned the hard way with my coffee extractions. Fillerless tanks/cartos are another matter, I've not used those enough to know yet.
I throw all my carto cloggers in my emdcc's...you can vape anything with those puppies :)

Well cracked the bubble gum tonight and i really like it. Its a bazooka joe type of gum for sure. I think this would rock with the berry fruit and/or strawberry. Even at 5% I really like it and think its fine right there as well. I just been finding these flavors work better for me around 5-10% on a average. I must just have sensitive taste buds lol.

I find that my preference with most of them as well. There are a rare few I bump up to 15%...

Thanks for reporting back on the bubblegum. Imo the grape is a rather grape bubblegum flavor...bet they'd be great together ;)

Piece of Heaven,OR
Take my credit card away AGAIN!!!
Talked me into it, twisted my arm:

Flavor 1: Apple Pie
Flavor 2: Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Flavor 3: Cinnamon Danish Swirl
Flavor 4: Chocolate Raspberry
Flavor 5: Sweet Tangerine

Flavor 1: Pralines & Cream
Flavor 2: Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble
Flavor 3: Vanilla Custard
Flavor 4: Vanilla Custard
Flavor 5: Harvest Berry

I thought the price was good too - $19.95 for 5 flavors so of course I had to order the top 10 + $5.95 shipping (reasonable).
My flavor stock is going up...I'll have to beat my DH to the mailbox :D

PS - This is turning into quite a "habit" abet a good one.

Newwell, I'm so happy you chose to buy some Capella. I hate to see new DIYers get discouraged and with Capella you won't be. :) It's so much easier to get a good mix. I'm no longer willing to spend days or weeks developing something I can vape and pouring a ton of money down the drain with stuff I can't. I've decided to stick with Capella for 90% of my DIY and in the long run it will save me a lot of money. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't waste my money on anything else. Just my opinion. :)

GoodDog, From what I've read on this thread & others (like the new one you started on single DIY flavs for newbies), I should not have to worry. I think I picked some really good ones too.

I am excited about DIYing, like a kid with a new chemistry set. Although when I was a kid with a chem set, I used to try to blow things up & make strange concoctions. My dad did not appreciate it because some of my stuff stunk to high heavens. :D

capellas are good but there are other flavors by other vendors that are just as good... one comes to mind is LorAnns Bavarian cream, i havent tried capellas but LA has beaten all the other popular ones, same as the butter rum by LA...great by themselves and also as good mixtures.

TPA peanut butter tastes like fresh ground peanut butter to me, which i like... Capellas tastes like the peanuts in in peanut brittle to me... but with a little sweetness, and TPA marshmallow it becomes a very good peanut butter...

just saying yes capellas are good but there are others

I agree to disagree . lol . I agree that some other flavorings are good but i dont agree that any are as good as capellas . Lorann has a few good ones but the majority arent great .

I also think that TPA marshmallow is the worst MM flavoring out there . Capellas MM first by far , then FA ,then Loranns then last TPA .Capellas MM has special characteristics to it . I also find Capella PB to be the only true PB flavoring( rich and creamy PB like right out the bottle . From vendors PB juices iv tried they all seem to use Capellas PB.

Taste is very subjective but Capella you instantly notice is higher quality then the rest .

yup we agree to disagree then because to me all Capellas seem to have a "dryness" to them... the tpa MM i used to round out the flavors and add a richness or sweetness, not sure how to describe what exactly it does but it works..lol

Capellas peanut butter i really dont feel tastes like real peanut butter..it smells like it in the bottle, it tastes like it when you drop the flavoring into a liquid and drink it or taste it but when you vape it, it doesnt to me.... but tastes are subjective.

i am going to try Capella's cupcake to FW Vanilla cupcake... cant wait :)

Funny you bring up the peanut butter Str8. I just tasted my test batch and at 5% flavoring it seems way weak. I taste a little peanut but so far not peanut butter. Going to add 5% more to this mix and see how that works out. The same with the French Toast as well. So far these two flavors from my new order are the only ones needing more than 5%.

More Capella fans are in this thread because it's a "Capella" thread. I've found a few from other vendors that I like, Bavarian Cream by LorAnn being one of them, but Capella doesn't have that flavor yet. I agree with Str8 that Capella's quality is FAR above any other flavor vendor and MOST of their flavors are far better.

It's widely talked about that too much flavor = no flavor or bad flavor. I think those members use mainly FA or TFA and with Capella I've never found that to be the case. Too much flavor = too much flavor but it doesn't change the makeup of the flavor. I do believe what Capella says that this is because they use the best ingredients and it takes them a very long time to release a new flavor and it shows. It goes through rigorous testing to make sure it holds up in various situations, like adding too much flavor to a recipe. So if I'm using all Capella ingredients I don't worry as much about over flavoring. It's easy to fix by just adding more base and it won't change.

If so many vendors weren't selling TFA flavors (because they make more money then if they sell Capella's and some probably don't want DIYers to know it's what they use in their juice) I seriously doubt it would be as popular as it is.

Most flavorings we commonly use are weak meaning they need above ten percent sometimes to twenty if its a single flavor mix or a combo of only two. The only company you can get away with generally low flavoring because its HIGHLY concentrated is Flavour Art.

Capella's is good, the most true smell, no perfume smells, but so far I find 80 percent of what I bought is on the weak side or right in the middle. I need 8 percent or above to even get the flavoring very mildly and that's after sitting for 3 days.
Ten percent works on some with EM. Vanilla Custard needed more than that to really taste it. This is not an insult its just something to bear in mind as we all have different buds. I will take a little weaker any day over a perfumey or not true to its name expected flavor.
