I just recently started vaping, using a joye 510. I have been vaping in my car, windows up. Im thinking the vapor is leaving a film on the insides of my windows, and at night they freeze, leaving frost on the insides of front windows. Anyone else get this? Please tell me im wrong! I like the e-cig, but i cant see anything when i have to leave for work!

If you're exhaling enough vapor for it to freeze on the inside of your car windows, I want to hang out with you.

I've noticed a little fog on the inside of my windows too. No problems with it frosting up on the inside, though. It should defrost quickly once your car warms up and hot air starts coming out your defroster. Something you could do too is wipe them down real quick with a towel or windex.

It's not that im exhaling a ton at a time, i think it just builds up on the window. And i know defrosting the windows sounds easy enough, but when its below 0, and i have a small 4 cylinder engine, it doesnt start kicking out heat till im almost at work. (so running it a couple mins before i leave doesnt do much)
leave a window cracked overnight
basically, you need to let the car air out a little before you leave it for the night. maybe crack a window for the last few minutes of the ride.
or when you get home, roll all the windows down for a few seconds and then put them back up

If you have been tracking snow into your car lately, the excess moisture will form up on the inside of your windows the next morning. Might be the problem. I've got plastic floor guards, so wiping them off when wet every so often helps, but doesn't completely fix the problem for me.
That's probably a big part of it...As an old smoker, I never drove around with my windows sealed up before, so it's hard telling how much is from vaping. Most of us do get a little bit of a film, but nothing too significant.
You may want to make sure you don't have any coolant leaks either. Sometimes that will cause the film on the inside of the windows.
Or putting a piece of cardboard over part of the radiator.

I know nothing about engine block heaters, but you might want to look into those.

I just crack my window a tiny bit and that usually takes care of it without making me freeze to death while driving.
i was a mechanic in the army, believe it or not, and doing anything to the thermostat or radiator for this seems like a bit much guys. lol she just needs to crack a window and maybe clean them. imho, of course.
I live in upsate NY and I have not had "frost" on the inside of my windows. I do get a nice film on them though from vaping in the car. I keep a microfiber towel in the glovebox to wipe them down and have started leaving the window open a crack to blow vapor out while driving.
While i agree with this, i do need to do that, and it does help, im curious if anyone else is having the same problem. Is the vapor collecting on the windows?
And it could be from smoke, but it seems to have gotten worse, not better.
(or from packing my car with people/snowboards/snow weekly)

I have noticed a film on my windows...and it's very noticeable when it's cold in the car. I just washed mine with vinegar and it helped a lot. I did notice that when I wiped them down, the residue I wiped off was not "black" like it used to be when I cleaned smoke off the inside of my windows.
