Excellent points! I have a side fire now with a bottom fire on pre-order coming soon (I hope!) While many bottom fire button mods are often strong enough to not fire, when they are set down, I bet most users lock the buttons anyway... and now that I think about it I am fairly certain I will too.

Even the bottom buttons that are stiff enough not to fire I still lock. They lean (99% do) when unlocked and IDK about you all, but I knock my mods over and it drives me nuts. So if they are leaning thats asking for trouble, IMO
I consider tweaking and maintenance to he two different things, although you are absolutely right.
Agreed, but in most cases a tweak is no more than a regular maintenance session.
