I haven't cruised on Carnival since I stopped smoking, but did take the Carribean Princess last spring and had no problems with my e-cig. As Mirage said, as long as you don't cause a stir you will be fine. I didn't vape in the dining room or anything, but anywhere outside was fine. I tend to be a discreet vaper anyway lol. I think it is more because of rabid non smokers - if they see smoke they assume you are smoking. I had a woman start coughing and waving her hands when she saw me exhale vapor and there was no flipping way my vapor was disturbing her, I was too far away. She was just being a pain in the ... IMO.

Have a blast! Where are you going? I am jealous! :)

+1 Jen; while I was always a considerate smoker when I used analogs, it just kills me when people dramatically overreact to vapor (thinking its' smoke). They look ridiculous; I just laugh. They probably think I *am* smoking and just being an uncaring a**, but I'm not inclined to go out of my way to correct someone who's inclined to jump to conclusions like that.

Well, we have 3 teens 15, 15 and 16 so we are about done vacationing with them. Love em and all that, but.....So last year, my wife won a cruise to the Bahamas on Quibids and we got a day pass excur$ion to Atlantis and were blown away by the water park - best lazy river anywhere - we so wanted them to see it, but staying at Atlanti$ is ridiculously expen$ive. So we booked a 5 day from Cape Canaveral to Freeport and Nassau for August - they have a 3 bunk and we have our room across the hall - they will ove the all you can eat, that's fer sure!

We almost went on a cruise, but got kicked off before the boat left the pier. My wife had food poisoning from the night before, but they were afraid she had something communicable and threw us off the boat... Was really traumatic especially for my young son, whose hopes were dashed terribly.

While it doesn't leave us much in the way of choices, we no longer will patronize RC/Carnival. I haven't looked whether or not they have any interest in the Disney Cruise Lines; might still have a shot there...

But I certainly hope you have an awesome cruise , and be careful what you all eat the night before!

Waylon we were the same. I remember going to the jewelry store that was in town at the time as asking to look at their discontinued bands.... Our wedding was fun and our honeymoon was staying in a hotel watching the replay of the ISU vs Iowa Football game of that day. How on earth could I have picked that day to get married:) 32 years later..we're still happy
