Hey Robert.

Fluval is something called a 'water polishing pad" for an aquarium. You can get it at pet smart, and it won't cost much. It's similar to the stuff in the carts.

Most people seem to think the original stuff is standerd polyfil, but I think there's something speical about it. I'm not sure what.

With paper, you roll the stuff up, bend it at the middle, and shove it in so the bend is towards you, and the two ends are towards the atomizer. I've tried it with tea bags, (Only one brand) and it seems quirky. You get really good vape, but they get nasty kind of quick.

I'm thinking of going with unfilled carts in large numbers as the other guy suggested.

How often to change stuff is up to the individual. I've yet to see a standerd.

If your going to not answer my question and just tell me what you do then at least give me a good link to some low prices for what you do

Robert<
New 510 user also (about 3 weeks w/ it).... it has been a learning curve and still is. In an odd way experimenting with direct dripping, refluffing and topping off carts makes vaping the 510 more of an art than a set technique. Battle your way through the rough 'burnt poly' hits and find the sweet spot where that cooool 510 flavor makes the suicide of an analog seems ludicrous.
Do try removing your filler completely from the cart and directly drip 2 drops e-nic juice directly onto the atomizer bridge>>>>great vapor and taste. I have flooded my attys many times though; i simply blow them out into a papertowel from the battery end and redrip onto bridge.
Good luck<

A keyword seach of "cart" and "stuffing" produced 407 hits.

<sarcasm> Maybe happily should just go to the site and send you the link to the shopping cart with the items already in it?</sarcasm>

If you're not going to bother to even do a cursory search, then you don't have much call for getting snippy when someone doesn't lead you by the hand to exactly what you want.

Robert, I take my carts, remove the stuffing, wash the carts and the filler material (just plain hot water, or a rubbing alcohol bath followed by a hot water rinse), wring them out in a paper towel, then let them dry overnight. I'm still new, but that's been working for me just fine. I'm sure at some point, I'll need to invest in alternative filler material, but this is lasting me for now.

OK I dripped like you said , I think everything is so small. Not sure what the bridge is? I just put it in the middle, and I did get a better hit with flavor. Then I think I put too much it was gurgling and leaking. Seem a little better with no stuffing I guess. It seemed to work perfect the first dau maybe Happily was right just buy new carts.....oh I aggrivated....real cigs now taste like crap and give me a headache...I feel like I've bee doing mass amounts of nicotine trying to get a good hit....I was happy...I need to find fresh carts I guess...The fluval looked the same but still started tasting bad quick... the drip might be the answer.. do I want it to hit the wire covered thing sticking towards me? is that what the bridge is?

Yes, that is the bridge.

In my all honest personal opinion, it just sounds like this may be a little too complicated for you.

Maybe just... keep buying carts. Change when it goes bad or dry. Good luck.

Just about anything (coffee filter material , tea bag,
paper towell, napkin ,fluval or whatever will absorb .

I cut a piece about 2 inchs , by 1 inch,
roll that up around a coffee stirring straw ,
or Q-tip...whatever...that size.

slide the roll into the cart and trim excess.

Then I put ONE DROP of liquid on the top of the roll.

Then I drip 2 or three drops into the center of the atty.
then I blaze away...The napkin (or whatever you use)
will last about two or three days.

Throw it away...repeat.

I NEVER FILL MY CARTS TIL FULL >>> NEVER

Hey Robert:

I have the Dura-C, I haven't looked back , but I think you have a 510. The high temps seems to cook and thicken the liquid. It thickens from the high heat of use and stops the cart from absorbing the liquid. Thus, we need to replace the cart filler when this happens. The best I have found, (closest to the origional) filling. Would be quilt batting. Go to a fabric/sewing center or store. It is sold on a bolt (a big roll). You can buy a 1/4 yard or 1/2 yard. Look for it to be thinner and all the fibers contained in a sheet. Do not buy a large bag of pillow stuffing (Big and fluffy, as many do here). It has too many loose fibers.( and god knows what your date thinks what you are doing with it in your closet when she comes over. ) But seriously, it is definitely not the right stuff. (I sew, quilt, craft, and that is not what is in the cartridges.) Take a look at it yourself, it is sheet looking, Not a big fluffy wad.

Don't get flustrated I can help!

Yeah, that's what I use. Cut into strips. Fold a bit of the length, cut, insert into cart, trim and walla! Ready to go! And, of course the straw goes in also. :)

Oh, and the best part... you'll have enough for life!
