How is everyone getting 7-10 days from cartos,Im getting about 3-4 days maybe 5 if i vape em flavorless, they still produce vapor but only produce flavor for about 10 pulls after filling???

5v boxmod/CCV Boge 3.0,10-15ml weekly Kingpin Feellife 65/35 is my goto stuff now but,I got about the same results on a 3.7v LED flashlight mod,Boge 2.0 with Viking Vapor 70/30 and DIY juice 70/30 too.

How many times are you refilling in that 4 days? Are you a very heavy vaper? Cartomizers like low PG. Maybe try 80 pg 20 VG thats what I am using and I get at least 7 days on a carto, particularly a KR808. Ten if I'm really using a light juice. I know people have mentioned some of the darker juices are no friend of a cartomizer. I don't know from experience mine are thin and light. Some people have posts here about cleaning the cartos by different methods. The ones I use never performed the same after a cleaning but that doesn't mean one of those methods doesn't work. Some people here swear by the fact that these can be cleaned.

I'm a heavy vaper and I don't get anywhere near 10 days. I tend to change them out when they start losing flavor, vapor or the pull get a little stiff. Some people may be cleaning their cartos to make them last that long. I tried cleaning cartos once and ruined them all. At a buck or two a carto, I would prefer to change it out for a new one. I'd say 3 to 5 days on one carto is a great deal.

Bottom line, you can't vape faster than the carto can wick. So look at the things that help a carto wick faster, and the things that cause it to need to wick less.

The simplest trick is that if you can put more than 12 drops of juice in when you top off without it starting to leak out the bottom, you let it get to dry before topping it off.

tj hit the nail on the head. Big thing is keeping it wet which means good wicking and topping off fairly often. Most people won't mention it either, but I've found when I give a carto a break, aka swapping to a different one for another flavor, topping it off before I put it up for a while help prevent gunking too.

I must be a real skinflint 'cause I'm using the same carto's that I bought 3-4 months ago, I just wash 'em out, boil them up for a few minutes, dry overnight and hey presto! brand new carts. They come up nice and white again and they vape just fine.

What style cartos are you doing this to? My husband tried this method and all the stuffing got loose and puffy and didn't hold the juice or vape right.

Treat it gently, try to not disturb the filler, Adding a few drops right down the side from a eye dropper bottle is another way.

Just pay attention to how it's vaping and they work.

Now just think if you were vaping Clear carto and could see that all the time:oops:

Yeah I thought about getting those but the steel colored ones were prettier.

I don't stick to one carto all day so I don't actually know how long they last, but I juggle about 5 different carts with different flavors. So far my last set of 10 CE2 style clearomizers lasted me a little over a month. Those were made like poo poo though. Had a small wick in the coil with the main wick underneath that... THEY WERE HORRIBLE! But I did like them at first. Much happier with my new stock of clearo's. Hopefully I find they last longer too!

I would probably say for a heavy (All day) vaper getting a solid 6-7 days out of one cartridge is good. They are so cheap that it's still a huge value over analog smokes any day.

Biggest tip, like others have said, keep it wet. These guys do not react nicely when they get dry. So much so that I let my cartos sit for atleast 20 minutes before vaping after my first fill. The polyfill style cartomizers are probably 10x worse. I would fill the night before and let em sit overnight. That's probably going overboard but not a bad idea in the long run.

My results are similar to Rocketmans. I like to take three or four fast puffs in a row, set it down for a while, then repeat. I try to remember to put a little time between puffs, but I forget and first thing I know, the carto is charred beyond recovery. The most I ever got out of a carto was the duel coils. I used one of those for about four days straight a while back. They seem to be the most singe resistant carto I've tried, but I'm not going to order any more of them because they're a little harsh tasting and they run my batteries down too fast.

Good stuff here. I use carto's exclusively and will take tj's advice - that being said my carto's last anywhere from 3-7 days depending on the juice. What I mean by that is juice from different vendors seem to have a different effect on the carto life. I won't name any vendors but as a general rule thicker and darker colored juice seems to kill the carto quicker. I'm probably going to try a tank, one called a Chibi from parkes vaping. I'm not in the position to top off cartos all of the time...
