I have only read your question and none of the answers but If your tank REALLY wasn't leaking you wouldn't find any juice on your connection. Therefore, the problem has to be the tank. I have a phiniac tank and also use boge cartomizers. I also have some leaked juice on my connector but it's such a tiny amount of juice that I don't have to bother cleaning it for WEEKS. It has to be the tank! No flooded carto will lead to that problem!

Perhaps not in your experience. There are many things that can cause juice to appear where it's not supposed to be. From badly flooded carts, weakened or damaged o-ring gaskets, poor sealing of the tube's end caps, and even the technique one uses when vaping on a cartotank.

It would seem to appear from the OP's last comments that his problem WAS a bad carto.

That part would have been me, muhahahaha. A little patience and paying more attention to what I was doing and how I was doing it...my problem solved.

Glad that I was able to point that out to you, Mac. I didn't want you to miss out on all that great flavor from your cartotanks. ;)

Did you find a vendor for your cartomizers?

Yes I did. Ordered a 3 pack deal from SweetVapes. If, for some ungodly reason, these don't work out, then the second choice will be some more boges from Valley. I may order them anyways. I also left a comment on the blog if you haven't seen it.

You're a rather nice individual Bad, if ya lived closer instead of half way across the states, I'd come see ya to buy you a cheese burger and a beer or two. Neither of which my wife would approve of. Don't care much about the beer, but I gotta have that occasional cheeseburger....they are good for the soul don't cha know.

Thanks my friend

I know youve heard this before, or read it, but it bears repeating. When you guys get your tanks, make sure you get those carts loaded properly, don't wanna be sucking that god awful burnt taste. Been there done that. Use a little bit of juice to lub the orings all the way around, and when I say a little, that's what I mean, only takes a very small amount.

Take it from someone who had a leaking problem, it wasn't the carto, or the tank, or the juice....it was me. Remember to think about consistency. Slow draw, 5 seconds give or take. Go to Baditude's blog, read the 5 or so entries, I can tell you they helped me.

After listening to folks, reading the blog entries, everything has become second nature, and I love my tanks. You will to. Good luck guys.

It depends upon the juice, obviously. I vape mostly darker coffee flavors and clearer fruit flavors. The darker flavors tend to clog up the filler material in the carto's faster than the more clear flavors, so those need to be exchanged sooner. I don't really pay much attention to the number of days, and say to myself, "Hey, this carto's been in use for a week, it's time to change it out." I just use the carto until the flavor drops appreciably or begins to be too stiff of a draw.

I used Smoktek single coils prior to using the IKE's, and I can definitely say that the Ikenvapes last 2-3 additional tankfulls longer than the Smokteks did. This is using them in small capacity IBTanked pyrex tanks of only 2 ml. to help guage to what you might be using. Appreciably better flavor production, too. My guess it all has to do with the polyfill material, whether by the difference in density or actually a different composition, I can't tell.

I'm also using approximately 10 cartotanks set up simultaneously at any given time, each with their own flavor. I typically pick 3-4 flavors to use during any given day. I like variety. I stopped doing the all day vape early in my vaping journey.

I got burnt out on one of my favorite flavors that was once an all-day vape, Copper Creek's House Blend. I bought a 120 ml bottle of it, and not long after couldn't vape it at all. That huge bottle of juice sat unused in my juice storage area for months until a fellow ECF member offered to trade it for a gift certificate to my favorite vendor. She messaged me that she was in vape heaven with her newly acquired juice, and I got to pick some free juice from my favorite vendor. It turned out to be a win-win situation for both of us.
